Coopa Posted August 26, 2011 Posted August 26, 2011 I'm actually happy with the new changes to Tager. More untechable time with atomic collider opens up new combos. They added repeat proration, I think, so Tager players won't try a gimmick mid combo because the player will just take the damage, since another atomic collider won't do anything in terms of damage. 5b jump cancellable and buffed on block makes it huge for pressure. Maybe something like, 5a, 5b jump b, jump c/jump a to throw or 5a 5b jump b, jump aaa, 5b jump cancel again, etc. Also, with the untechable atomic collider timing becoming bigger, maybe something like, sparkbolt, 5c 6a , atomic collider, atomic collider whiff, 5b, jump 2c, 2b, 2c atomic collider, atomic collider whiff, 3c xx gadget finger, or 3c xx sledge a/

No, joketest 1 said you can't do 360B>stuff>collider 360A has poor untech time so you can't that combo anyways.

Acording to the japanese bbs (as far as i can tell) 360A>5B>5C>AC is red beat 360B>5B is redbeat but for 360B>5B>5C> the 5C is bluebeat. Thats why i said magnetized only since todays changes say 3C can now be special canceled and Air untechable time has also been greatly increased. Of course i dont know for sure but Im just guessing thats how it would work.

Air untech time implies they are hit in the air I believe. 3C doesn't launch high enough for that...well theoretically if they are magnetized it may work...still sounds sketchy. I hope you are right, this has it's benefits.

Maybe 3C has a different hit style now or maybe it hits them up higher when you use OTG like that. But that brings up an odd concept, the proration on 360A is worse than 360B so in theory, it would work on 360B and NOT 360A as it stands now. I'm wondering if that means they switched the prorations of them in order 360A a better punish and 360B a less painful tick. Strange...

Strange...Not That strange, I'm pretty sure that 360A had been nerfed into CS2's value, and 360B had been buffed, so it has been like that before.

Isorropia Posted August 26, 2011 Posted August 26, 2011 From CS1, combos after 360A were possible, while 360B didn't work as well (after 360A, could get untechable collider vs rachel, but not after 360B). Then in CS2 they literally just swapped the proration values for 360A and 360B. So maybe they've just swapped them back again.
Osuna Posted August 26, 2011 Posted August 26, 2011 I'm not surprised they changed it back to something more like what they had before for the tests. 360B leads to a lot of damage. I don't really 720 as a punish if I can land 360B. Unless 720 would kill them outright.What with the meter gain, mag and oki, and small damage differences. If I want to spend a spark I can get more mag and break 720's damage. I don't really mind if they burst the follow up either since they had to eat 3.8k before the burst. But maybe it's just me who thinks 360B is awesome... Oh wait. Actually they may have nerfed the Hell out of 360B. if 5B 5C doesn't connect that means 2B 2C doesn't (because of the level increase) which puts the proration at worse than what 360A has now.

mAc Chaos Posted August 26, 2011 Posted August 26, 2011 With magnetism 3C>collider works. You can also recreate the float effect (I'm guessing finger RC collider), but they can tech in the air. 3C>collider>2C works (tested on Jin), 5C does not.

Also sadly 3C>collider whiff>2C>collider working but 3C>collider whiff>5C>collider not working is a bit depressing, of course they tested it on Jin.
