Astaroth136 Posted April 26, 2011 Posted April 26, 2011 Well I don't get an error like "your disc is damaged etc etc." my xbox just says "open tray" and every now and then it will read the game and I can play it. I'm thinking that if I install it to my hard drive it will be able to run the disc with a lot more ease since it has the information already loaded onto the hard drive. This was happening to me before my first 360 died. Installing made my terrible SC4 disc work great for me.

Someone reported it and Sony responded by removing the whole platform and hired a third party to check stuff out. Interesting.

This may include: Your name Your address (city, state, and zip) Country E-mail address Birthday PSN password and login name Your credit card information (potentially) Summary: 1: PSN Servers were hacked between April 17th and April 19th. 2: Some or all of PSN users have had their information compromised. This includes username, birthdate, real name, address information, and more than likely, but not yet confirmed, credit card information aside from CV security codes. 3: Any passwords you share with your PSN account should be changed. If you share the same password for your PSN registered email account with the actual email account, change your email password immediately. Also change security questions and answers. This should include all social networking sites. 4: As a precaution, you may want to cancel your credit card/bank card and order a new one. 4.5: If you are not going to cancel your card, review your bank statement or credit card statement for the next 2 years very closely or until the card expires and you are issued a new card with a new expiration date. 5: If you do not remember which credit card / bank card you used, go into your email account and review any purchases which added funds to your wallet on PSN. On that email you will notice the first 4, and last 4, digits of the credit card / bank card number you used. 6: If you play MMORPG's and used the same password as your PSN password to log in, regardless if your username is the same as your account login name for that MMORPG, change the appropriate password in said MMORPG and change security questions. You may want to change the passwords of any accounts with the same log-in name (including ones here), as well as look into taking care of your card. The leak of credit card information has at this time not been confirmed but Sony admits there is a possibility.

So what if I need to get a new credit card. This doesn't even faze me other than the lack of online which still sucks. Tired of fighting Tager CPU's as a means of training. Anyway, long story short, i'm backing PS3 till the end.

Credit checks have to be run, forms to fill out and phone calls to banks, and pay the fees associated with these. So people are getting their identity stolen AND having to pay fees to check up and fix these things. That's definitely not right at all, as people are paying out-of-pocket to remedy Sony's royal screw up. You better believe if my identity was stolen because of (insert any company's name here), I would hire a lawyer and sue. It's their responsibility to protect your personal information. Anyway... I've been pretty freaking busy, but I've made time for editing videos. :D I'm very, very close to being done, and all I need to do now is export and upload them individually (thank god). Are you guys still interested in them? Because I know it sucks having to wait this long, and I may not be able to get them all up until after this next MTN... But I know what I'm NOT going to be doing tomorrow, and it's practicing Blazblue. >:/ If it tells you how busy I've been, I was going through the things I normally bring to MTN to get ahead in packing some things and make note of what I need to find. Guess what? I'm missing my Blazblue disk. T_T I'm sure it's related to the fact I can't find my MvC3 case, either, because I vaguely recall slapping it inside the MvC3 case when I was swapping them from my 360. So if any of you have found yourself with more than one MvC3 case and an extra copy of CS, I'd really, really appreciate it if I could have it back. It's an honest mistake, so I wouldn't be angry at all... I can guarantee it's going to effect my performance at the last CS1 MTN unless I can figure something out though. XD
