Even though Bang got balanced and I agree with his changes, I realized Bang's playstyle is very rock paper scissors like in terms of his mixups. I spend most of my time just guessing with Bang and it gets boring. I think Jin would make me have better fundamentals in fighters in general because he doesn't really have high low mixups so he relies on knowing your opponent's habits so he can stuff their moves with counterhits/frametraps/dps. Yes it requires some guessing but I feel like I spend more time thinking when I play Jin than when I play Bang. I agree with this one, I get so bored with bang now, mostly cus his bumper oki isn't as easy to set up or as fun. His pressure feels wierd too, and FRKZ doesn't make up for those.
Milln Posted May 15, 2011 Author Posted May 15, 2011 For the record, Naimat has always had a closet Jin he never used. I'm the one that is deciding to switch. My reasons were already explained when I was first talking about it. I figure Jin's tools would be better for my playstyle and thought processes. That and TK C Sword amuses me to no end.

I may hate you but at least I hate Jin more.) approaching him is a B**** and anything he throws outside of DPs are normally safe (unless you can predict those overheads and punish them) and with all the weird stuff he can do he's just a real pain. Can't wait to square off against a CS2 Jin and see how the match-up is now.

Seiki Posted May 16, 2011 Posted May 16, 2011 Milln's right I have always been a closet Jin main, BUT IT'S NOW TIME TO GET OUT OF THE CLOSET AND FACE THE WORLD! @Astaroth Bang's mixups are actually safer now since perfect block got nerfed and he can cancel any of his moves into fire fist and his 6A is super fast and gatlings into from any move. As far as his drives go 2D is jump cancelable and his other drives can be canceled into a TK fire fist so even if you try to punish his drives you will just eat a fatal counter.

Old valk is still too fresh in my mind to make the switch yet. Noel is fucking boring so far... I still look forward to fighting the New Tager. It keeps me going.

Kind of appropriate since your new main is Jin, eh? :3 Now that I've got the brackets, I can start categorizing the videos I already have made by player. It's getting there, but once again, my computer sucks ass when it comes to processing... It takes on average more than an hour to process a five minute video w/ commentary. :/ As for CS2, some of you may be guilty for choosing mains because of tiers, but at least you're not guilty for choosing mains because they're easy/familiar. >_>; *Still mains Ragna and hasn't messed with Noel hardly at all*

I prefer frog since most ppl usually autopilot neutral tech. you also get a lot more damage if they get hit by mixup during george. At the end of george 5b-> j.c-> lvl 2 j.2c-> ender.
