Gawdammit Third Strike Online, making me question my Capcom boycott. Things like it being GGPO-enabled, having the ability to automatically upload matches to Youtube, and the Challenge Mode all seem really freaking sweet. Besides, I didn't think this many of you guys would be interested in it.

It literally comes down to whether or not I enjoy the demo enough to break my one-month Capcom boycott. *Cries* I guess I can always just boycott physical games. I know I can't go without downloading a Capcom arcade game forever.

You guys are only attracted by the silly gimmicks like a "parry system". "Oh I can be like Daigo and full parry everything". Seriously most of you are going to quit when you learn you don't have the tech skill to play that game any deeper than a six year old with down syndrome. Who ever is left will stop playing because nobody is going to play it. Pick up marvel. I heard it's a good fighting game.

If anything you should play marvel that's for kids too. It's got all your favorite superheroes from your childhood just like smash has all of your favorite videogame chars from your childhood.

Seriously wolvie/akuma is worse than phoenix. Wolve/akuma/phoenix makes me want to cut myself THAT or anyone with an otg/haggar/phoenix(or good anchor) CS2 Litchi???
Mr.Pickle Posted August 25, 2011 Posted August 25, 2011 My reason for playing smash isn't the fact that its geared toward a younger audience, I find it enjoyable, and it doesn't have a bunch of crazy shit in it like marvel, not saying I wouldn't play it for fun.

Maybe half of the people here will quit in a week, but the actual Game Galaxy scene and Memphis scene love 3S. As a result, it won't be dropped just like that, and you'll always be able to find someone who wants to get a few matches in casuals. Plus, if you stick to it, it's guaranteed to help your execution since shortcuts don't exist. And I don't see KoF sticking in mid TN. Skullgirls will probably have a longer life...
