Get hype! :D Also, I've been looking at this for a while, but I don't want to take the time to mess with it if I'm the only one interested. Would you guys be interested in me making a Custom OST GGXXACP (PS2) a la this? It'd mostly be remixes of the character's themes that I put in. I'd love to have it running for casuals, and maybe even some recording if people would play it after the tournies.

It's okay to be salty towards a game, it's designs, it's flaws, etc., but you cross the line when you decide to be a dick to the other player. Did you think I couldn't hear you constantly muttering to another person "Yeah, because his characters are the easiest to use," "...using the three most boring characters," etc.? Did you forget that you use Akuma, the easiest anchor to use in the game? Wesker isn't hard execution-wise either. Magneto is only hard the first few hours you practice his ROMs. In fact, Marvel is an easy game, and Ultimate is supposed to be even easier. If you want execution-based games, you need 3S or GG. And don't ever tell me to "shut the fuck up." If I told you to "shut the fuck up" every time you bitched and whined, my voice would be hoarse.

In fact when I get "salty" it's just for fun. I'm sorry if I insulted you but jeez didn't know you'd take it like that. I don't think I have been a genuine asshole to anyone here in the community. The only times I'm an ass is in a joking manner and it's more about poking fun at myself. I hope you don't hate me =/. p.s. Magneto is rough to play online though.

I figure that even if you guys don't particularly want it, having a Custom OST should help me get into Accent Core (which I've wanted to do for a while now).

I honestly don't care about custom tracks since I tune out music while gaming, but if we'd run a GG tournament I would be endlessly happy.
Seiki Posted September 10, 2011 Posted September 10, 2011 most of the time you can't even hear the sound coming from the T.V. and if you do it's all muffled because of all the noise people talking multiple t.v.'s mall activity etc. Guilty Gear would be fun to play I'd rather not do tournament though since I'd just be donating to charity plus I don't have a system that can play AC to practice on.

In light of this, I will instead be providing a cash bonus to the victor of both of these aforementioned games based on a tiered number of entrants. Time to find some friends, you all. I don't see how these two things correspond to each other. Besides, you know you can always borrow one of our sticks for the tourney. Heck, I even have a stick that I bring every time that no one EVER uses. EDIT: I mean... Not to sound ungrateful. A cash bonus sounds really hype, and I'm sure it'll get people practicing. I still think you should play, though.
Milln Posted September 11, 2011 Author Posted September 11, 2011 (edited) I am uncomfortable with any stick that is not my own due to button layouts and form factor. It just feels alien. For example, the last time I used another person's stick, I was hitting the panel instead of the buttons. That is not a good feeling. I'm so used to my Hori (soon to be a Sanwa-Hori. Sori... Hanwa... Sanri.. San Rio?) that even using a regular controller for fighters is bad news bears. I'm not entering and will instead be fronting my entry + Venue fees + extra if we get more MTNers(mountaineers?). I don't understand why you find a problem in this. I'll still be there to crush you all in Mystery Game.... as soon as I figure out what it is. Edited September 11, 2011 by Milln
Jackie Chandler Posted September 11, 2011 Posted September 11, 2011 I can definitely understand the uncomfortability factor in regards to your stick, since using another Xbox 360 controller for me is enough to throw me off my game. I just thought I was in the minority. I don't have a problem in it... It's just, you organize these kinds of things for us to have fun, and I wouldn't want you to sit out a good time simply because you don't have your stick, you know?
