LastStarSaviour Posted January 23, 2012 Posted January 23, 2012 Too bad Hazama was brain-dead in CS2. Well actually, he's just been brain-dead all throughout his history as a character.
Seiki Posted January 23, 2012 Posted January 23, 2012 Too bad Hazama was brain-dead in CS2. Well actually, he's just been brain-dead all throughout his history as a character. I would like to see you learn hazama. @Chandler: I was reading in the hazama social thread and i heard the timing is pretty strict and judging from japan vids i saw people dropping the loops because like two or three reps in it becomes 1 frame windows for the dash in 5C and the tiger knee flip kick from 2C. *Note: 2C can't be jump canceled immediately so you have to delay your tiger knee input by a tiny bit which makes things a bit more difficult.
Jackie Chandler Posted January 23, 2012 Posted January 23, 2012 Ah, I didn't know that. I'll have to try it for myself and see how difficult it is. Except for maybe that, Hazama doesn't seem more difficult in Extend though. If you were still considering learning him, I'd encourage you to.
Seiki Posted January 23, 2012 Posted January 23, 2012 idk chandler. I'm having a hard time deciding. I have to choose only one character because im playing multiple fighting games and ive got school etc. so i dont have time to be great at two characters. I see Buppa and Mitsurugi play and I want to main hazama. I see Dora rape and troll with bang and I want to main him. I think I'll just stick with Bang since thats who ive played in every BB game so far and I kind of want to continue that till BB dies. (which i hope is soon. NEED NEW GG)
LastStarSaviour Posted January 23, 2012 Posted January 23, 2012 But I already know Hazama. He's that easy
Astaroth136 Posted January 23, 2012 Posted January 23, 2012 I'll be accepting any and all Marvel money matches.
Seiki Posted January 23, 2012 Posted January 23, 2012 Marvel matches are like the slots at casinos. Dat X-factor.
Seiki Posted January 23, 2012 Posted January 23, 2012 (edited) Really? Why is that? Oh btw I want our community's goal to eventually be having enough money for us to go to Japan and play against the top players in Japan. Edited January 23, 2012 by Seiki
Astaroth136 Posted January 23, 2012 Posted January 23, 2012 Marvel matches are like the slots at casinos. Dat X-factor. Meh. The better you get at Marvel, the less random things tend to get. After all, top players place high consistently. Oh btw I want our community's goal to eventually be having enough money for us to go to Japan and play against the top players in Japan. A better, more realistic goal is to play the competition in the South. Georgia is really strong. 'Bama still has Raekwon and other strong players. Memphis is dominating in KoF right now.
Seiki Posted January 23, 2012 Posted January 23, 2012 I said eventually, as in somewhere down the line.
LastStarSaviour Posted January 23, 2012 Posted January 23, 2012 (edited) I'd honestly hope that MTN would be pretty legit before trying to battle the Japanese in combat (removed the mortal to avoid stupid puns). It'd be a wast to just go and completely get bent over. Edited January 23, 2012 by LastStarSaviour
Seiki Posted January 23, 2012 Posted January 23, 2012 (edited) Not really. The reason we go is for the experience. And we all have enough knowledge of the games we play to appreciate the high level competition in japan. It's not all about winning and you don't have to be near their skill level to learn something. The thing is when you get bent over you now know what you need to work on. They expose you. Edited January 23, 2012 by Seiki
Papstr Posted January 23, 2012 Posted January 23, 2012 Wanting to go to Japan is a rather extreme goal, especially when before, we were talking about how will still need to expand our own community. Baby steps.
Seiki Posted January 23, 2012 Posted January 23, 2012 God it's like you guys don't understand the word "eventually".
LastStarSaviour Posted January 23, 2012 Posted January 23, 2012 (edited) Idk about all that getting exposed crap, if I ever go to Japan i'm going with the sole intention of finding some strong prey. Feeding this hunger I have would be the sole reason for my existence there. It's really too bad that to actually learn anything in general you have to first be able to hit your opponent. And if you're not on that level against your opponent where you can get a hit in you really aren't learning anything. So yes, you do need to be close if not at their level. The experience is cool (I guess), but I want that battle. I need to take home those scars that say "Heh, a wolf's quest for food is a grueling one." Edited January 23, 2012 by LastStarSaviour
Volpe-de-Glacio Posted January 23, 2012 Posted January 23, 2012 How would we raise the money for this? Going at it with other scenes like those one dudes for $500 dollar team money matches?
Seiki Posted January 23, 2012 Posted January 23, 2012 I don't know how we are going to get the money but the main thing here is that this is something we should try to set out to do sometime in the future.
Top_Cat Posted January 23, 2012 Posted January 23, 2012 I agree that as a whole, Japan is better than America, but there are a lot of bad players there just like here lol. MTN goes internationaaaaal. Go to Japan, get bodied. Then go to Europe and take all their money.
LastStarSaviour Posted January 23, 2012 Posted January 23, 2012 Or, we could actually try to be good, don't get bodied, and show them that America is legit. That's a much better option if you ask me.
