LastStarSaviour Posted May 6, 2012 Posted May 6, 2012 (edited) Almost finished Persona 4 The Animation. It was definitely worth the half-day I spent to caught up on it. Fight sequences were sub-par but the story managed to move me greatly. I have a lot more respect for all the characters and now I want to play eveyone in the game that much more. Edit: Dang, really hoping Adachi makes it into the Console version of P4U now. He kinda had that hazama-type (just found out they have the same vioce actor), comic-relief villian swag. Just saying. Wave-dashing in melee was like a half-accident but that's about it. Scrubs just think it is the be-all-end-all of Melee. So where has everyone been. You guys need to come over more jeeze.

They just left it in cuz they figured, what the hell, nobody'll probably figure it out anyway, and if they do, who cares. Melee an accident? I doubt it. Great games aren't really "accidentally made"

Tsujikawa, Kubo, Goichi (A.K.A. Go-1). Definitely worth the watch. Edit: Naimat, if you're looking for a really solid akihiko match, I recommend watching video two around 51 minutes. Seiki Posted May 8, 2012 Posted May 8, 2012 I really like how he utilized akihiko's counter to get in on Mitsuru. He still struggled to get in though and it's because Mitsuru can space Akihiko easily. He could have made it a bit harder for Goichi to space him if he used the gravity pull move. He doesn't really have to worry about a Persona break since akihiko doesn't really rely on his Persona. Even if his Persona got hit each time you used the gravity pull that's 4 opportunities (till persona break) for a mix up per round. If they attack his persona they leave themselves open for an attack since akihiko is free to move, and if not they are pulled in giving akihiko more offensive options.

I have to agree that Akihiko players reallly need to utilize their personas more, it would add a whole new level of depth to their game, but I suppose they'll start trying to open up their options in due time.

The house I taking care of sold, so I'll be gone for a few weeks during closing and then in Michigan until the 22nd. When I fly back into Nashville, I'll be homeless and my stuff in storage. Not sure when I'll get things worked out and daily life established again. When gatherings and shit go down, please text or call my cell. I may not be able to make it, but that don't mean I don't want to. I really like SkullGirls. Really. Naimat, don't know when I can get the stick to you.
