Volpe-de-Glacio Posted December 21, 2012 Posted December 21, 2012 That game looks pretty cool. If my laptop wasn't crap I'd totally join you guys.
AlexSanteria Posted December 21, 2012 Posted December 21, 2012 Ditto that. So everyone ready for Kumite and Final Round?
Milln Posted December 21, 2012 Author Posted December 21, 2012 That game looks pretty cool. If my laptop wasn't crap I'd totally join you guys. It actually doesn't require that much in ways of computing power. It can even run in the Chrome Browser.
Mr.Minionman Posted December 21, 2012 Posted December 21, 2012 Whoa whoa whoa you're a radio DJ? Why is this the first we've heard of this? Tell us more. More of a hobby really, seeing as I don't get paid for it :P. TTU has it's own radio station, and students are able to take about 3 hours worth of training to qualify for some time on air. I go in about once a week while school is in session and just play whatever I feel like. Last semester I had a show where I played albums start to finish and talked about them, which I'll probably continue in the spring. I'm essentially that one guy you here rambling unenthusiastically on the college station (there's one in every town right? maybe not) and playing random obscure bands. Nothing spectacular sure, but I enjoy it :o It gives me an opportunity to expand my music library, and talk to other people with interests in music without really committing to it. If I wasn't so lazy about learning musical instruments I probably would have tried to be in a band, lol. You guys don't know Mr.Minionman?!!! He's the most famous DJ in the entire world. I have a story of when I first met him. I was at a fortune 10 Company party (props to Trojans Sponsorship) and I was just chillin with the 10 CEOs that run the world and DJ Mr.Minionman is bouncin his fro playing some hot tracks. The CEOs got so krunk off his tracks they got their 60 year old asses off the couch and attempted to dance with their mistresses' but it just ended up looking like dry humping. Before I left DJ Mr.Minionman and I looked at those 10 CEOs and their mistresses and wondered if their wives know about this...if their children would be proud of them if they saw their fathers like this. DJ Mr.Minionman then asked, "What about the mistresses?" That triggered a thought about a time earlier in the party the CEO of Google was scratching his crotch a lot. These women were in danger. So before I left I gave everyone a trojan condom where my face was at the end of the shaft. I saved lives that day. I'm a hero. And it's all thanks to DJ Mr.Minionman asking me that question. Oh yeah, I remember that XD. It's the small things that count. The look on their faces when they realized that I had spiked the carrot juice was priceless. Surprised you could remember that, you were wobbling all over the place.

Papstr Posted December 21, 2012 Posted December 21, 2012 Late to the music discussion if only for the fact that my tastes are terrible and I didn't feel like sharing. Then I changed my mind. I mostly listen to Gaming OSTs with the occasional random song or artist I happen to like, or other random little shit from some anime I watched or somethin'. I'll posts links where appropriate, otherwise I'll collectively say "the entire soundtrack lol" and give you the game's name. https://www.youtube.com/watch?list=FLzM0uQ8e5j5vIAM_CxjYi-g&v=i_KO0dM545o&feature=player_detailpage - Darksiders 2 - This track plays during the intro and the first boss battle. No idea why the title is "Hidden Music" I think it's cuz it's not on the official OST. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=binBh-WUUE0&list=FLzM0uQ8e5j5vIAM_CxjYi-g&index=13 - Yggdra Union - Milanor Thieves March - most of the music in this game is pretty good. This one'd stuck with me the most though. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GDWgI2qpric&list=FLzM0uQ8e5j5vIAM_CxjYi-g&index=16 - Armored Core V - Cadence Call https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8JygrbkrPA8&list=FLzM0uQ8e5j5vIAM_CxjYi-g&index=17 - Armored Core V - Vulture https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wWhp16XSBUo&list=FLzM0uQ8e5j5vIAM_CxjYi-g&index=22 - Chantelise - He Who Stands In Your Way https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IgGM9YiC9R8&list=FLzM0uQ8e5j5vIAM_CxjYi-g&index=26 - Chantelise - Lost World (I think this is reused in Recettear?) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0ULlqfeNLWY&list=FLzM0uQ8e5j5vIAM_CxjYi-g&index=53 - Super Metroid - Brinstar Green https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cl9FQIT-6iY&list=FLzM0uQ8e5j5vIAM_CxjYi-g&index=63 - Armored Core For Answer - Remember - I never even played this game LOL https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fWzongwH2xA&list=FLzM0uQ8e5j5vIAM_CxjYi-g&index=153 - Akatsuki Blitzkampf - God Man Bearing in mind I tend to love entire soundtracks of games but those are just some favorites. No, I don't find it weird that my playlist consists of basically a mish mash of random games. Full OSTs: These games' entire soundtracks are phenominal. Go search for them, and while you're at it, play these games if you haven't: Riviera: The Promised Land F-zero GX Megaman Zero 1-4 Castlevania: Symphony of the Night Varius Touhou shit The World Ends With You Guilty Gear (duh) Blazblue (huh?!) KOF13 Majora's Mask Stuff I forgot: http://tindeck.com/listen/ggxa - Dangan Ronpa! - BOX 16 (Keith don't click this. Music spoilers are the worst) http://tindeck.com/listen/odsl - Dangan Ronpa! - New World Order Random Anime Shit: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mRU-FZsn1Ks&feature=related - Saber Marionette J to X - Lively Motion Keith'll put me on blast for that last one, but FUK U CUZ IT'S A GOOD SHOW, ASK KLEIN AND MILLN. Oh yea and I like shit like Michael Jackson every now and then. That's all I got. Listen and enjoy them, or don't. My tastes are horrible.
Tophatmoffet Posted December 21, 2012 Posted December 21, 2012 Oh yeah Milln I meant to tell you a couple of days back that I'd be more than willing to play airmech whenever you please.
Mr.Minionman Posted December 21, 2012 Posted December 21, 2012 (edited) https://twitter.com/jchensor/status/282230929152434176 Nice job, dude! (not that I know who Jchensor is) Seeing these combos you come up with on the obscure characters makes Marvel actually look interesting lol. EDIT: Papstr, those meta knight vids you favorited makes me want to punch babies, holy crap. >_> Meta Knight ruins that game, lol Edited December 21, 2012 by Mr.Minionman
Urichinan Posted December 21, 2012 Posted December 21, 2012 Nice job, dude! (not that I know who Jchensor is) Seeing these combos you come up with on the obscure characters makes Marvel actually look interesting lol. Heh, thanks. jchensor is James Chen, one of the biggest names in the Capcom community. I was crazy excited because he tweeted one of my videos. :3
Klein Posted December 22, 2012 Posted December 22, 2012 Jchensor or James Chen, rather. Is an SF player who's been in the scene for an incredible amount of time, and commentates majors all the time. I'm sure there's a lot more to be said, but that's the short of it. Also Minionman, accept my request on Skype so I can talk music.
Volpe-de-Glacio Posted December 22, 2012 Posted December 22, 2012 Throwback to some Earth, Wind, Fire. You guys need to respect some older music: September Kain beat you to it. Late to the music discussion if only for the fact that my tastes are terrible and I didn't feel like sharing. . .My tastes are horrible. IMPOSSIBLE. Personally I think Naimat, Kain, and Minionman have excellent tastes because they listen to stuff I can really dig, but that doesn't mean no one else has good taste. Klein listens to some pretty awesome stuff, even if it's not what I tend to listen to. I don't get Milln's stuff aside from the classics, and Woz and I seem to be on somewhat different wavelengths when it comes to electronic stuff, but that's just how music is. It does different things for everybody.
Jackie Chandler Posted December 22, 2012 Posted December 22, 2012 Sometimes I wonder what it's like to have taste in music.
Tophatmoffet Posted December 22, 2012 Posted December 22, 2012 Its really great. You should try it. Volpe-de-Glacio Posted December 22, 2012 Posted December 22, 2012 (edited) Caravan Palace? Shiiiit, I think you just won this thread. Also, good luck with fl. I was interested in becoming a producer, but I can't do shit with just an interface. I need some hardware in my face, and at the prices that asks for it's something I won't be able to do for awhile. In the time this gave me to think about it, I've had my interest drawn to more traditional instruments(as if that's any less expensive, ha). I've been considering the cello or violin, and I definitely want to try the sitar. I love those trippy ass riffs, they're so delicious. As for me, I miss my old collection. I completely forgot about these three when I first posted. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZckIyXQE83I http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QjfoCTuPrGY http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zez2Cg3m4fs (God. . . that intro.) Volpe-de-Glacio Posted December 22, 2012 Posted December 22, 2012 Haha, yeah. I just wish I'd realized how cool it'd be if I'd gone another route instead of picking up trombone in 6th grade.
LuminAbyss Posted December 22, 2012 Posted December 22, 2012 You wanna get chicks, just learn to sing man. Instant babe magnet.

Jackie Chandler Posted December 23, 2012 Posted December 23, 2012 Don't you just hate dropping your flashlight on your food? Can't be any worse than dropping your fleshlight on your food. In alot of the shit I remember as a kid, the deformed hand was always an ancient artifact of immense power. You never knew what exactly it did, you knew is was OP. You've got a current gen model and we know it 720's shit back in time. Karma win. Also, this.
