Mr.Minionman Posted March 14, 2013 Posted March 14, 2013 Tret and I have been playing around with the game today. Rather fun, had an instant attachment towards Sasquatch.
Anne Posted March 14, 2013 Posted March 14, 2013 Diggin Lilith but comboing into raging demon is awkward and she's kinda....yeah...how do you play this game? -_-
Jackie Chandler Posted March 14, 2013 Posted March 14, 2013 Cookeville's Final Round situation right now is... Interesting, to say the least. :P First we had four people interested in going, then five, then a possible six. So as we were trying to figure out how we were going to transport everybody, people found out it's going to be on Easter weekend. Now they're not sure THEY can go. Then someone found out you won't be able to enter side tournaments with a Spectator pass, so he dropped out. Now we're back to a possible five, and fo' sho' three. But since my car only has four seats, we'll still need to figure out what to do if it comes down to the former. XD Either way, I think we're all looking forward to coming down and hanging with the Georgia crew- not for the tournaments, but for the community. I think I might even be the only person coming from Cookeville who's actually competing in anything. :O
Milln Posted March 15, 2013 Author Posted March 15, 2013 (edited) Current passenger list for Millnmobile: 1. Milln 2. Klein 3. Star 4. 5. Tadmobile: 1. Tad 2. Naimat I hope everyone has registered for Final Round. You have a very limited time to do so. Edited March 15, 2013 by Milln
Urichinan Posted March 15, 2013 Posted March 15, 2013 Guys, Lauren Landa (Litchi's voice actress) is going to be voicing Squigly in Skullgirls. (My favorite Skullgirls character) I can't handle all the hype between this and Final Round. And speaking which, I really hope I can break in this new PS2 pad by the time FR is upon us. I don't want to show up and not play my best because I'm not using my preferred PS3 pad. If there is someone there that can do it, I'd actually really like to get my PS3 pad wired, that would be nice.
Milln Posted March 15, 2013 Author Posted March 15, 2013 I hoap Cookeville would be making an appearance tonight at Kaos Theiry! And other associated peoples! Whee! I'm back up to 80% or greater so I'm going to be practicing until a reasonable time.
tret_tree Posted March 15, 2013 Posted March 15, 2013 @Uri: Lauren'll be at Omnicon in Cookeville this weekend. http://omnicon.us/guests/ I won't be able to go to Final Round. Too many scheduling conflicts with family etc.

That really sucks too, we'll miss you at FR.

Duckie will be there along with some other modders, and they will be able to get you fixed up. If you are worried about not getting you pad done in time, you can mail it to me and I'll get them to mod it thursday when they aren't busy. I think you can also just disconnect the battery to make it tournament legal, and I can do that.

That would be WONDERFUL, I'll wait for my new controller to arrive and try it out for a while first and then let you know how I feel about it in a few days. <3
Anne Posted March 15, 2013 Posted March 15, 2013 Sorry it took me so long, but I am in there for Final Round. Registered and all. If I can I'd like to hop in the Tadmobile and I will crash anywhere I can >.< Edit: Just saw Milln apparently has a couple open seats, since he lives down the street I should probably ride with him lol. Still love you Tad <3

I HAD to do that last year, and I lost two matches against PR Rog in Marvel due to that. Dropped 2 happy birthday combos on him. This time, I'm using that Crono converter. I haven't opened/tested it yet, but I will on Tuesday at fight night next week.
Anne Posted March 16, 2013 Posted March 16, 2013 Astaroth, why are you using a converter? I thought FR was on 360 this year after the whole Apex thing v.v Edit: Yeah, so Capcom is 360 while everything else is PS3 -_- I guess you will need a converter.
Jackie Chandler Posted March 16, 2013 Posted March 16, 2013 Wait, what happened at APEX? Just curious.
Mr.Minionman Posted March 16, 2013 Posted March 16, 2013 Yeah, I'm in Tret's boat concerning Final Round.
Anne Posted March 16, 2013 Posted March 16, 2013 At Apex the PS3s were overheating and having really bad performance issues in UMvC3 that were game breaking. There's known slowdown and stuff on Capcom games for the PS3 and that was the breaking point, caused drama and junk. The FR crew being the awesome guys they are switched Capcom games over to 360 to make the tournament as smooth as possible (and probably to avoid some bitching).
Alphakami Posted March 16, 2013 Posted March 16, 2013 @Anne; All good buddy. I'm leaving early ass early Thursday morning from Columbia to be down in time for setup work, so that probably wouldn't work out well for you anyway. Glad you are gonna make it honey! @Uri; yeah, let me know. I'll be glad to handle that for ya.
Volpe-de-Glacio Posted March 17, 2013 Posted March 17, 2013 (edited) So apparently when you play a character with limited options, you're supposed to take at least two of those options and never use them. Elizabeth should never attempt to fight back, because she's a mere mortal in the face of divinity. If you use the options available to you, you're scum that wishes your character was broken.
