But his fireball acts differently (doesn't travel fullscreen) and EX version is a huge purple orb that slo-o-owly moves forward. And his anti-air has a sort of auto(?) divekick followup.

(something about "battle signal" quality being improved) -CPU was improved (more active now) I generally suck at getting what's what when it comes to balance changes, but i'll try to translate those.

Nekich Posted July 7, 2007 Posted July 7, 2007 The move info display in Practice is kewl - it allowed to take a move that does 1000 damage on Akatsuki and then hit every character with it, thus "calculating" their armor ratio. That info's in Wiki now, Introduction part of each character. ps.Adler's bgm is epic. pps.i think i'll leave translating balance changes to someone with more knowledge on jp fighting terminology - i can't understand a thing. =(

Necrosis Posted July 7, 2007 Posted July 7, 2007 I'm the one writing shit on Sai, Sugoroku, etc. I also threw in a bit for Mycale, Murakumo, and I think I corrected a few mistakes. With this new version, they seem to have made the stuff I put up for Sai not work, but I put in what I am currently doing. I've been meaning to get damage numbers but I am hella lazy and can't even do half of the stuff I'm putting in there because I suck on a keyboard. I also agree with H-F Blade winning. Adler's song too, correct?

Though maybe damage values against Akatsuki would do. So i currently write move descriptions and translations (there's no one else to do those, i guess .( )

Thankfully his track is included in a separate bgm file which made it really easy. It should be finished uploading pretty soon. Color edit is a lot of fun. For Aka, I wish his hair color didn't spill into his pants. :\ Does anyone else think there should be a media page on the wiki too? Youtube user "Blitzkampf" has all if not most of the ko-hatsu match videos up until this point. For the wiki I'm just mainly filling in sections randomly. I had an idea for putting up a flow chart, graph, or some other visual representation for which normals can chain into what moves considering that it's different for almost all the characters. Hopefully the main website will have an image for Adler's movelist just like they did with the other characters. EDIT: OST finished uploading. Download here. Sorry if it's not perfect because I know there's some tracks that have a stray sound at the very start if you listen very closely. But let me know what you think.
Rithli Posted July 7, 2007 Posted July 7, 2007 I've been playing against several people in the mizuumi irc channel, and I have to say the newly updated netplay is pretty good. I've been getting decent lag even from people on the opposite coast. We got the Matchmaking configurations figured out and it should be posted on the wiki pretty soon. It seems like it's more or less like the Nintendo DS Friend Codes. I'm thinking people should post their matchmaking codes up on the wiki as well. Though, it looks like it needs updates, as some of the online players won't show up as being online. Also, I'm a bit curious if any of the characters received any boosts/nerfs? So far, it doesn't seem like the existing characters got any significant changes.

Well, then my brains melted. I also suspect that Wei's moves are in chinese ._. At least his name is.

Akatsuki is barely changed (more invincibility for less damage doesn't seem too bad to me), and fucking SAI AND ANONYM GOT WORSE. WHAT THE FUCK. I demand that they stop making shit characters MORE shit than they already were. I'm trying to play them here, and I have to deal with them getting MORE shitty? They even nerfed Murakumo, and he wasn't worth nerfing at all. Honestly, I'm glad there seems to be some nerfing on Mycale, since she was top, but seriously... this is the worst. Just... wow. No changes to Blitztank at all, then? That's wonderful, since Blitztank is already the worst character in the game. Wasn't Soldat like A tier? So now he's better due to no downside to that, just upsides? I seriously hope there's a LOT being left out here. I don't want my god-awful characters made worse. On a side note, I've already changed my combos in the wiki to what I do in the new patch. Fuck 5C, I guess it was too good that we could do... less damage than we do now. Whatever.
