      Prizes

Currently, all prizes will be a reward of an undetermined number of 'convention credits' that are redeemable in the prize room. Among the available prizes are some electronics, lots of manga, some box DVD sets, random figures and otaku gear. The earlier you cash in your points, the better selection there is. This is subject to change, more prizes may be at stake!

For those also interested, Saturday will feature a Smash Bros. Brawl tournament, a CoD: Black Ops Zombie mode tournament and Sunday will feature Halo: Reach 2v2 along with a DDR tournament.

Huey253, Blazblue's biggest fan, was NOT at the autograph panel of Cristina Vee, the voice actress for Noel Vermilion.

This is my concept whenever I enter a fighting game tournament at anime convention. To be specific, it is about being the bad guy, trolling with some random top tier character (even though I got to practice combos only for a couple hours just for the tournament) in order to make [insert name of game] look bad.

Still, I couldn't troll/cheese Dusty, cause he was too legit. I actually had to switch my character after my first loss and that was when the tournament ended for me, and I didn't care much after that match. They later told me that all top 4 players would get the prize, although I thought only the top 2 players would get the prize, knowing it was single elimination. Only if I knew that, I would have forfeited and let Dusty play the semi-final to claim his prize, even though I won the match. I gave the prize to Dusty later though, since he clearly deserved it, being too legit.

PS. People kept asking me if I was running a GG tournament, but knowing there was no CRT TV in the game room, it was near impossible, and on top of that, I wasn't even planning to run it in the first place. Veteru told me he will mention it at the staff meeting so that we can get an access to CRT TVs in the game room, so we'll see next year.

I did get to play GG:AC on CRT TV though... IN THE "RETRO" GAMING ROOM. That's right. GG is a retro game, and so is MB. A guy next to us was playing some Mario on Super Nintendo... :psyduck:

Hey guys! Had a ton of fun at the Tourney, do we have any idea when/where the vids will be up?

Also: Tae, that wouldn't happen to have been me you forgot for the results would it? I remember beating the Rachel in the first match of top 16, then getting destroyed by sG in the next match xD
