News of the World, Britain's largest circulating Sunday paper is closing down due to allegations of criminal methods of sourcing. To put perspective on this, it's like if Fox News just suddenly closed down after being accused of being biased fucks. As a matter of fact, that could be a possibility, since Rupert Murdoch owns fucking Fox too. GOOD FUCKING RIDDANCE. News of the World is a stain on the integrity of all newspapermen everywhere.

First of all hindi sya location war dahil gaya nga ng sabi nyo "team battle" kapag location war kasi magkakampi yung isang location laban sa iba. [ex: dtier vs ehada.] Pero pag Ranbats "Free for all" di ba? Next, gaya nga ng sabi ko sa mga nauna kong post hindi talaga maiiwasan mag harap 2-3 magkakapitbahay kasi 4 lang yung pool at may chance talaga na maraming sumali sa isang location. Sa dtier na lang eh ilan na kagad kami dun di ba? Pero ang bottomline dun eh, at least sinubukan natin gawan ng paraan. Lastly, suggestion ko lang naman sya. Something to think about if you're willing to try new things. Lahat tayo makikinabang dun kasi mag iimprove tayong lahat kung paano mag adjust kagad sa isang player na di mo kilala. Better tourney experience di ba? Kung sasabihin mo na: "Edi labanan mo na lang sya pag may casuals". Aminin mo iba ang feel pag naglalaro ka sa tournament kaysa pag casuals or at least para sakin iba. Kasi pag casuals hindi nanginginig kamay ko pag nagco-combo ako, Hindi ako giniginaw kahit patong-patong na suot ko at hindi ko rin gustong saksakin sarili ko pag naka-drop ako ng suppose to be round winning combo. That's it for me. Pasensya na kung medyo makulit nilinaw ko lang yung ibang points ko. Malabo kasi ako makapunta sa mga casuals this week baka nga hanggang next week pa so wala akong chance masabi sa inyo personally. Ang sarap tumira sa opisina eh laging aircon tipid pa sa pamasahe.

Ganito na lang, 2-3 days or a week before dapat magsign-up na, kasama na dun DAPAT ang bayad (to ensure the participation on the day of tourney). Since pre-registered ang mga players, mas maaga mabubuo ang bracketing kung ggawin nga ung 4 pool shit na yan at puwede na ipakita at i-announce. Para sa mga di makakapunta sa pre-registration, pwde parin ang walk-in, ang importante masimulan na ang brackets ahead of time. Tapos isingit-singit nlng mga walk-in. THIS WILL ALL BE COMPLETELY RANDOM MADE BY THAT TOURNEY PROGRAM. No excuses kung makaharap mo sa tourney kagad yung parati mong kalaro. Kung intention mo mag-improve sa tourney MISMO at na-out ka kagad, wag ka magrarason, matagal na lumabas ang CS2 dapat matagal ka na sumali sa casuals at nagpractice. Again, random dapat ang bracketing/seeding/placing whatever the term is, to keep the feel of the tourney. Kung malas sa napuntahang bracket, galingan mo na lang. Opinion lang toh ng boyprehn ni Tomomi. Comment na lang kung sino gusto pumalag...

May ibang tao legit dahilan nila kung bakit di nakakapunta ng casuals. Hindi naman goal nung location seeding eh padaliin yung tourney. Para sakin mas magiging mahirap pa nga sya dahil hindi mo alam kung paano maglaro yung kalaban mo. At hindi lahat ng bagay matututunan mo sa casuals kasi may ibang bagay na mararamdaman mo lang pag sa tournament na mismo. According sa post ni Allan available din naman kagad yung option na location seeding sa TIO so hindi naman siguro ganun kahirap gawin yun kahit walk in lahat yung sasali.

Dragonthorn Posted July 8, 2011 Posted July 8, 2011 (edited) I suggest na gumawa tayo ng test bracket based on location seedings... try lang ni Allan before the tourney (preferably ASAP) para lang makita ng mga tao kung paano sya nag wowork. Magandang idea din ang location seeding... aside sa lahat ng sinabi ni bert and everyone else about experiencing new opponents in a tourney setting, pwede din sya lagyan ng twist. For instance, individual competition sya, but we can add the points of each player from each location and come up with team points! In that case, aside from individual performances, ma gagauge din ang team performances! Ang fun di ba! Ang peg dito is like F1 racing kung saan may driver's point's and constructor's points. Ang caveat lang naman dun is that gaya ng sinabi ni Chase, kelangan equal ang number of team members. No problem naman yun kasi pwede natin i-even out yung teams at i distribute sa mga mas konti yung mga madadami, just for the tourney's sake. EDIT: Btw LOSER yung nag foforfeit ng match. Its not a matter of not trying new things really. Again location pooling to me isn't a OMG BAD IDEA, MUST STEER AWAY. Its just an idea that doesn't feel right because why complain when sooner or later magkikita then kayo? Mag filipino champ ka ba rin sa semis? Nothing absolutely wrong about loke pooling, but nothing is absolutely right about it. I still also stand by sa pinagusapan na sa ranbats we're still double elims, 2/3 match, pure random. Compromised suggestion ko is if mababa ang head count, we use that. We can also try out the 4pool, with the loke mod, sa tourney on august. Pedeng imeasure yung time na kelangan through math, ang kelangan natin makita is if it will be received well by the entire community. Besides, if Daigo and Tokido fight sa pinaka unang round ng EVO, I WILL JUST LAUGH MY ASS OFF. 1/200+ chances lol. That's life. Imagine mo kung yung mga sports leagues may ganun, kung susuko yung for instance, a bottom-feeder team (like the Cavs) against a team na defending champion (like the Lakers). Btw the Cavs beat the Lakers 1 game out of 2 in this latest season if I'm not mistaken. Btw editing my comment since I should not be using "bakla" as a derogatory term. It's politically incorrect guys!!!
