Jackie Chandler Posted May 31, 2011 Posted May 31, 2011 (edited) Hype get. Thanks for posting all the info here Milln- the details are really helpful, and I hope it attracts some attention. I'm undecided on whether or not I'll show up on Saturday (it'd be cool to watch the AE and MvC tourneys), but I'll be sure to make it Sunday for BB. Also. Mystery Game Tournament (Will be revealed June 20th) One(1) dollar entry. Double elimination bracket, no pools, everyone just gets thrown into a bracket. We will use the game's built in best 3 out of 5 option. Players may request a side to be on and may use ONE THROW of Rock Paper Scissors to settle disputes. I'm going to have to do some research and see what I can come up with. :3 EDIT: It better not be this. Edited May 31, 2011 by Jackie Chandler
Milln Posted May 31, 2011 Author Posted May 31, 2011 Shanghai Karate What, you mean that's not a sweet game? Look at the poke to the shins, man! LOOK AT IT. THAT IS TOURNEY COMPETITION. If you show up Saturday, you'll prolly see me hanging around. I recommend it. I might even be able to swing housing you that evening.
Stig-san Posted May 31, 2011 Posted May 31, 2011 I was pointed over here from SRK about Arcana Heart. Really hoping that there's enough to run the tournament for it and I'll try to convince the rest of the AH folks in GA to show up. Anydangway, if you need some setups for AH3, I can surely bring one with me.

The rest of Georgia? BRING 'EM. I'm sure our players want some out of state competition!
snipingsnipe Posted May 31, 2011 Posted May 31, 2011 Ill try and make it there at least sunday, Im really hoping the mystery game is GGXXAC, It would be so hype
Klein Posted May 31, 2011 Posted May 31, 2011 Ill try and make it there at least sunday, Im really hoping the mystery game is GGXXAC, It would be so hype It's initials are SK... So probably not. BUT HEY, I have money now, so yeah. Hype.
LastStarSaviour Posted May 31, 2011 Posted May 31, 2011 Georgia's coming down for AH3? Get hyped, too bad we only got about two to four people reppin the TN AH3 scene. Ah well, we'll have to make up for the lack of numbers. MTN's countdown to MWC, the wheel of hype keeps turning!

I watched that whole video and didn't see the guy hit with it a single time. So disappointing. The more I think about it, the more I think I'd enjoy making it on Saturday. I may even enter a Saturday tournament or two just for fun if I can make it. But yeah, I'll keep you up to date. Thanks for the heads-up. :D Georgia's coming down for AH3? If I can get hold of some money to buy it with before then, I may enter the AH3 tournament. It doesn't seem too different from Blazblue. :P

I know you play it. That and we can hang out and mingle with all the other players, including Astaroth who will be wrecking everyone's shiz. And Come On Baby. How can you resist a day full of Come On Baby? Arcana Heart has the -exact- same combos over and over. Less room for Yomi. OH NO! MILLN IS SPEAKING CONTROVERSY! AAAAHHHH Is this really his feelings!? Or is it all simply a ploy to stir up discussion and instill raging HYPE FACTOR??
Milln Posted June 2, 2011 Author Posted June 2, 2011 Hey milln, do you think you could house me on the saturday of the mwc weekend? house me too Eshi and Midnight if you guys are staying over at Milln's holla at me so we can get friendlies going at his place since I live 30 mins away from him. Since i'm not the only one living there and it's just as much KO's place as mine, lemme run it by him first. I'm confident he'll be cool with it and i'll get back to you guys. For what it's worth, my parents have effectively disallowed me from staying the night somewhere besides home for MWC, so I won't be needing housing. I also apparently can "only go one day" despite it being a two day event, but since I figure that's only because my parents can be overprotective douchebags, I might be able to swing driving up both days if I pay for my own gas money. And this is a prime example of why it's better to ask forgiveness than permission. Ugh. Just do it anyway. You're a big boy and you're over 18 so they can't enforce rules on you. Just apologize afterwards if need be. Haha, what you can do is "go to the store" one day and "get held up with old friends". Hahahaha We'll see you Saturday and Sunday, man. *salute*

Haha, what you can do is "go to the store" one day and "get held up with old friends". Hahahaha We'll see you Saturday and Sunday, man. *salute* Yeah, I'll definitely make it both days no matter what. I just don't want to get yelled at if I don't have to. :3 If I can talk my folks into letting me stay the night there (which is doubtful) and you think you might be able to swing housing, you *might* have to talk with my parents so they can make sure you aren't a serial killer. But since I'm sure that's incredibly uncomfortable, if it wouldn't work out for whatever reason, I can just drive back down/up to make it both days no sweat. :]
Milln Posted June 3, 2011 Author Posted June 3, 2011 Nah it's cool if I have to talk to Charles and Lee-Lee. I'll get with KO in a day or so(I'm still not moved in all the way) and see how many he wants to deal with.
LastStarSaviour Posted June 3, 2011 Posted June 3, 2011 (edited) Lucky kids, I might just try and rent me a hotel out there for those two days. Even though Saturday i'll be doing little to nothing besides watching people play games which will in fact be a waste for renting the hotel in the first place. Wonder if I could score a MTN discount somewhere, hmmmmm? Probably not, XD. Also, Milln your controversy fails. AH3 is a great game and you know it. Even if it does hurt my hands Q_Q Edited June 3, 2011 by LastStarSaviour
Astaroth136 Posted June 3, 2011 Posted June 3, 2011 I FINALLY DID A 9-CUBE COMBO WITH MODOK OFF OF A DOWNWARD AERIAL EXCHANGE!
Astaroth136 Posted June 3, 2011 Posted June 3, 2011 HELL YEAH! IT'S MODOK, IT'S A 9-CUBE COMBO, AND IT WAS DONE ON A PAD!
Eshi Posted June 3, 2011 Posted June 3, 2011 Since i'm not the only one living there and it's just as much KO's place as mine, lemme run it by him first. I'm confident he'll be cool with it and i'll get back to you guys.i partially said it as a joke because there's a very good chance I'll be riding with a group and we'll all need a place to stay. And I definitely don't want to dump that onto a person I've met once.
Milln Posted June 3, 2011 Author Posted June 3, 2011 I see. So you're,in essence, saying that you're A SCOUNDREL?!?! Ah, just kidding, Eshi. I'm glad you're bringing your crew! I'm very excited. =D Astaroth, did you create this combo?
Grimstar Posted June 3, 2011 Posted June 3, 2011 Arcade Edition, and maybe Marvel, LET'S DO THIS! (sorry CS2, but when you gained Platinum, you lost me)
LastStarSaviour Posted June 3, 2011 Posted June 3, 2011 You mean when it gained tournament viable characters it lost you? Zah?!?!!
