Can't wait, main reason I'm picking up a 360 seeing how it's getting taken off of GGPO

Only buying this to encourage a Vampire Savior port and to reward Capcom for doing so many awesome things with this. Not really a 3s fan.

im pretty sure that i would end buying it only because i would need it for the tournaments (if there is still people willing to play it), not a fan of the sf3 series tbh

now what it really interest me is the youtube replay feature, that its something very neat

I'm pretty much sold. Always enjoyed SF3 more than the other games in the series, even though I never got too into it. All the extra features and GGPO online for only $15 makes it a no-brainer, honestly. Can't wait to Hayate dudes.

GGPO and arcade perfect (990512 too). Proof that Capcom does listen (and knows which set of fans to listen to).

i can see them having the fault of different input times between the 360, ps3, and arcade versions though (i think its by 2 frames). if they alter the game so it makes them all the same, then thatd be great for tournies/the arcade scene (which im not apart of... -_o)

either way i am actually excited for a SF game

credits go to 'arstos' for putting this info together about the game's release

Slightly unrelated question, but is there a typical timeframe for the XBLA/PSN Store submission process? It's been stated that the game is in the submission process at the moment, is there any sort of typical amount of time this takes or does it vary from title to title?

As a rough rule of thumb for digital titles, first submission to prop for us has typically been about 7 - 10 weeks depending upon how many resubmissions it takes to get approval (if any) and how many other titles are in the queue before you competing for slots. In this particular case, there's also the issue of "black out" windows for Summer of Arcade on XBLA (which you have to be invited to by MS... for clarity's sake SF3 is not a part of MS's summer of arcade).

Secondly, for Sony you have to submit for approval in Japan, North/South America and Europe seperately. If you're trying for a global, simultaeous cross platform launch, you can't plan your launch until the very last one is approved.

Lastly, to provide crystal clarity, you can not get an official date from Sony or MS until you have approved code. So the reason why we haven't provided a firm launch date is that we don't have one confirmed from first parties. We have a window that we're targeting, that we think even in worst case scenarios is achievable, but until we're approved and slotted, we just don't know for sure.

I actually wasn't intending on getting Online Edition, but then my original copy of 3S started to freeze at the versus screen. I suspect Capcom had something to do with that....

Oh well, I guess it's a good time to get hype for Online Edition.

This is totally random, but found out through SRK of all places that Derek Neal the producer of 3S:OE is non other than Goryus, pretty interesting that another notable player gets a nice job in game production.

Game is pretty damn solid, and a total blast. "Unlockables" are kinda bland, but who really gives a shit?

Online is wonderful, I played for like 3 hours with a guy in Germany with the only hiccups being occasional jumps as the game tried to catch up. No slowdown is a beautiful thing.

The replay upload feature is really cool, too.
