4r5 Posted July 17, 2011 Author Posted July 17, 2011 So how bout this? Free Guilty Gear AC tournament, round-robin, winner gets 20 bucks. Unless you are Steve H, in which case I hold on to your winnings and put it in to a savings account.
DJHUOSHEN Posted August 2, 2011 Posted August 2, 2011 BBCS2 tournament is free, and will be a normal tournament ( you still owe venue fee ) Pot is $50/$25/$10. I also highly encourage people to start showing up to the weeklies if you plan on going to Summer Jam. I need to return into top shape and I need all the practice I can get in this game. I will bring my CS2 set up every week.
VR-Raiden Posted August 3, 2011 Posted August 3, 2011 I should be able to make it. Down for BB and GG, free or not free I'm guessing the higher venue is for the food stuff?
DJHUOSHEN Posted August 3, 2011 Posted August 3, 2011 I should be able to make it. Down for BB and GG, free or not free I'm guessing the higher venue is for the food stuff? Yes, because it's gaming AND a Cookout.
mikenapalm Posted August 3, 2011 Posted August 3, 2011 BB and GG is free and so am I! If I work that night I'll try to make it down to level up with you guys.
VR-Raiden Posted August 3, 2011 Posted August 3, 2011 Yes, because it's gaming AND a Cookout. Cool, looking forward to it.
mikenapalm Posted August 4, 2011 Posted August 4, 2011 It's not hard to level up when you're free. D= Lol but how long does shit normally run till? Won't be able to stay till past 8 or so to get back home in time for work.
4r5 Posted August 4, 2011 Author Posted August 4, 2011 for monthlies, people usually get kicked out at midnight, but sometimes no body gets kicked out
4r5 Posted August 4, 2011 Author Posted August 4, 2011 wait, henry's place is called next level, isn't it? i fail
Akiro Posted August 4, 2011 Posted August 4, 2011 BBCS2 tournament is free, and will be a normal tournament ( you still owe venue fee ) Pot is $50/$25/$10. I also highly encourage people to start showing up to the weeklies if you plan on going to Summer Jam. I need to return into top shape and I need all the practice I can get in this game. DJHUOSHEN Posted August 4, 2011 Posted August 4, 2011 360 or ps3 setup? PS3 Would be nice if someone else brought a set up so we could be running two TVs, otherwise we'll be limited to one.
Reioumu Posted August 4, 2011 Posted August 4, 2011 I might come to this. I have a bb setup but only 360 lol, but I'll be bringing Melty/GG/CvS2 though!!! also Arcana if anyone wants to play that
4r5 Posted August 5, 2011 Author Posted August 5, 2011 you can use my ps3 for another bb setup. but i don't have the dlc
Akiro Posted August 6, 2011 Posted August 6, 2011 I have a 360 set up with all the DLC, but no TV. :< if someone can bring a TV I can bring mine .
bmore303 Posted August 7, 2011 Posted August 7, 2011 I work until 7pm that Saturday, but I'll start showing up at the weeklies more. I'll be bringing a non glitchy Vampire Savior setup this Wednesday. I'll bring my PS3 for BBCS 2 if enough want it. Think the crowd will thin out too much by then? Or is the MvC 3 crowd still keeping it packed for monthlies?
mikenapalm Posted August 7, 2011 Posted August 7, 2011 How's the parking situation? And are BB and GG both starting at 2?
bmore303 Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 Definitely wont be there Saturday, found a music festival / cookout going until the am >_>
DJHUOSHEN Posted August 10, 2011 Posted August 10, 2011 (edited) How's the parking situation? And are BB and GG both starting at 2? Parking is not a problem, big enough lot and additional spaces nearby. Tournaments will run at 2 and will run swiftly as possible. If you wanna bring a set up but not a TV make sure you have normal AV cables because Xanadu will have plenty of CRTs that can be used. Edited August 10, 2011 by DJHUOSHEN
Akiro Posted August 10, 2011 Posted August 10, 2011 Ok, I'll bring my 360 setup for BB if anyone wants to play on that. I may be able to bring a TV too actually.
mikenapalm Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 Okay. I'll bring down my PS3 and PS2 if there's TVs down there already. Help things run smoother.
4r5 Posted August 12, 2011 Author Posted August 12, 2011 AV cords and extension cords please. You'll's setups ain't worth shit if we can't plug it in DJ, is it safe to assume the BB tournament is PS3? If you haven't decided yet can I save people much potential grief latter and decide for you right now that it's PS3?
