kousaka Posted August 6, 2011 Posted August 6, 2011 (edited) TorontoTopTiers is proud to host Toronto’s 12th Annual Fighting Game Championship or T12. The Toronto Series Tournaments date back early 2000′s where it consisted of only a few players. The T Series eventually cultivated to a big yearly gathering consisting of Canada’s best players. This year, we will make our mark in the world. I do want to say that this will be the last T-Series that I'll be doing. While I do understand that Summer is a great time for big Tournaments in Toronto, the T-Series cannot tie in with EVO Championships. I would like to change that so that Toronto/Canada can get the massive exposure we all deserve. Aiming for April for another big event. I do hope another soul runs T13 but if not, this maybe the last one. DATE: September 24th-25th TEASER TRAILER: LOCATION:Best Western Primrose Hotel http://www.torontoprimrosehotel.com/ 111 Carlton Street Toronto, ON M5B 2G3 (416) 977-8000 I’ll try to see about getting discounts from the hotel and the hotels around the area. DIRECTIONS: College Subway Station. Go east to Church street and you’ll see Best Western Hotel. If you pass Tim Horton’s, you passed it. FOOD: Lots of places to eat around the area. You can bring food in the hotel but please clean up after yourself. PARKING: Lots of pay parking in the area. Zeero Posted August 6, 2011 Posted August 6, 2011 we usually have GG side tourneys, but its hard to say with CRTs being harder and harder to find... and EVO GG was really UNhype =(
X-Sapphire Posted August 8, 2011 Posted August 8, 2011 This T tourney definitely looks like a step up from all the previous tourneys. Good shit Russell! Linear you forgot the added pot bonus! Is top 8 for all games going on stream?
LiveWireX Posted August 8, 2011 Posted August 8, 2011 Man, I'm really tempted to try and check this out.
neorussell Posted August 8, 2011 Posted August 8, 2011 Yeah, the Top 8 of BB will be streamed on Sunday. Probably at 2p or something. Schedule coming in a few weeks. Hermes: Can you add this up top please? BlazBlue CS2: Team Tournament(PS3) Teams of 3 $10 per member Double Elimination Bracket Pokemon Style Rule - will discuss more in a few weeks Character Lock per Member, no repeated characters allowed per team I'm trying to get some pot bonuses added for BB so stay tuned like I said. NeoRussell
blueNINE Posted August 8, 2011 Posted August 8, 2011 Definitely considering going. GG side tournament would certainly be more incentive!
X-Sapphire Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 There will be a GG side tournament. We're not going to run both singles and teams because it's going to interfere too much with the main games since there's alot of cross-game players. So we're only going to run a 2V2 side tourney for GG on the sunday.
