D: I have her with wall smash and freeza's move right now, I'd give her Cell's move, but I like freeza's move a bit more for her. But yeah, I am wondering wether Wall Smash or Super Cancel would be better, maybe dragon vitality, but I don't think she really needs that.

furix Posted October 9, 2006 Posted October 9, 2006 Yeah, but the thing is.. it only adds like 4 or 5 extra damage if I finish a combo with a super cancel, lol. But I guess I'd be using it much more often than a wall smash, maybe. 5 damage is 5 damage! Specially since 18 doesn't need supers that much as her combos do tremendus damage, unless you start the combo with the 214214P super(which does too much damage). I might consider giving her SC back, as I am not using wall smash that much other than when I get them.. in walls, well yeah lol. Oh I also use Goku now(omg I am such a shoto user!! D: ). So I am also wondering what to inherit for him. I have him with Wall Smash, and I love it, alot of his moves send the opponent directly into the wall, and I think I'll give him Cell's move lol. Yeah, the only reason I gave 18 wall smash is cuz it worked so well with goku, but for her I think SC might be better.

He got upset at me because my Chi Chi combo in my 17 Combo Video looked samiliar to his (from his Combo vid). But whats funny is I took that combo from a random match video I saw a random back with 17. Also, Super Cancel isn't too bad at all, seeing as how you can get your bar back so fuckin' fast ;P

PWN I didn't know you could combo specials from L+B. :P btw I really like super cancel with vegeta cause in air combos you can do his Laqura gun x ? into Galick Gun for some nice damage Oh yeah I agree now that Majin Vegeta is very overpowered. His qcb+B does indeed launch but perhaps even worse is his d,u+H. Damage is insane and those things are huge.

furix Posted October 10, 2006 Posted October 10, 2006 I still can't figure out what skill to give Goku. I mean, aren't the best 2 inherited skills in the game Frieza's and Cells? But.. I dunno if I want to give EVERYONE Cell's moves. So.. either Frieza's or Cell's, not sure what he'd benefit more from. Maybe another character's move? Not like Goku needs an inherited move much, but.. well I just wanna fill the slot. :s And yeah, that guy from youtube is very strange, I was reading his other comments lol. Oh, and I agree on the secret characters being pretty good, except Videl, unless you give her Cell's move then she's alright.(she does have a just frame move). Also, how do you ground bounce using Piccolo's jumping H? I do Jumping H and they just hit the floor, but I've seen in match videos that when piccolo does jump H the opponent ground bounces, was this removed from the console version? Or am I just doing it wrong?

Or am I just doing it wrong? I used to think Impact Up did the trick, but I was wrong. It actually was Wall Smash that's needed to get that jumping H bounce. Kinda wierd he was the only PS2 character playable from the get go. Granted I haven't made a card with him yet...so maybe he gets some good moves or something. At least he has gunblaze lol. This game isn't that hard to play once you get used to the system and combos. Oh yeah, about Cell being able to have 8 moves, did you guys decide if it should by tourny banned or not? I say not, since his skill tree IS 6 tiers, why ban him from getting that extra 2 skills he can inherit? Then again not like he -needs- to inherit any move lol. Should having 8 slots on him be banned? Should he only have those 6 skills from his tree + one system skill and no chance to inherit a battle skill? Again, not like he really needs it, but iono I was just thinking.

I rested No. 17 character card and re-build him again (kind of, from the dragon ball wish), and there was an ability I over-looked. It was an ability that, if launched, they are thrown further into the air. I didn't know how good this was until I tested this out on a No. 16 with heavy weight, omg its good. Add that with Wall Smash, and you got yourself some free sex.
furix Posted October 13, 2006 Posted October 13, 2006 I have that ability on my Cell <3. Works wonders on him, too. Just inherit Wall Smash on Cell. ;s.. He already has super cancel. am I cheap? But nah, Cell is not my main, just messing around with him for fun. I am all out 18 and Goku.
