It needs to be one with a XLR or 1/4" cable that I can use on a mixer. Unfortunately, the Tape input jack has gone bad, so that option is out. The format has been revised once again. Rank 7 is now the maximum, we're also eliminating the King's Gauntlet and turning that into a "Special Event." We'll have a different "Special Event" each session to keep things interesting, as slugging it out in the Ranks for 5-6 hours can be rough. I highly suggest you show up on time and participate in the special events, as they are awesome and sweet like delicious Candy. Also, we need stuff to throw on youtube, so help a bro out. That said, let's introduce our next special event: 10/15 - "Single Battle Ordeal" (SBO) This is a Single Match, Single Elim Tournament. You know how to do those work right? Seeds will be determined by Danisen Ranking at the beginning of the event. As a bonus, your Danisen points will count during the tournament. As usual, you cannot gain points as a Rank 7 and you cannot go below Rank 1 (+0). Afterwards, the Danisen will continue as normal. Edited October 10, 2011 by Xie

That's because I tallied your results in SBO after the final standings. Next session's special event rules: 10/29 3pm - Battle By the Garage (BBG) -This is TWO TEAM BATTLE. Everyone will be split into one of two teams and will duke it out! -There will be two team captains, first pick will be chosen by a best of 2 match. -The Team Captains this time around will be Hidden and Secret for now. -Each battle between team members is ONE MATCH -The winning team is the team that survives! -Danisen Points are tallied at the end of the event. But it's a second mic. Also, it's tomorrow! Show up on time! If it rains... Well, we'll probably switch the orientation of the room such that we'll decrease the amount of moisture. If it pours, we're probably gonna have to call it off though. Edit: Reminder, this week's special event is a two team tournament! Just wait until you find out who the captains are. I'd like to get more comfortable playing on these monitors. Also you should test out that second mic for minimal technical difficulties on stream. What mic is it?

WanderingWolf Posted November 6, 2011 Posted November 6, 2011 I had a lot of fun today and I feel that I'm getting a lot better with these monitors. I think I have also almost fully picked up playing on a stick. I just used Xiei's stick and I thought "Hey this isn't so bad after all" since it was so light and small. If I don't switch back to pad , I should be sticking with stick. I'm going to forbid myself from playing any Blazblue until I get a new monitor. Which could be a while. ): Another thing, I did want to money match but I probably need someone more my level for just to make it more fair...Maybe next time. Also, the stream station setup is usually occupied with the higher-leveled players which makes it intimidating for other players to jump in. Maybe it would be cool to have those seats passed around more often. Other people might like some screentime or their match commentated, it certainly is fun. Just throwing that out there.

Xie Posted November 22, 2011 Author Posted November 22, 2011 In case none of you got the memo, the rest of the Danisens are canceled until we find an indoor venue. We're considering Super Arcade, but that would greatly increase the distance for a lot of you (SD, Irvine, LA, Long Beach, Myself :O) folk, and for you extra poverty folk you'll have to pay like $2-3. If we can't get like 15~20 of you guys to show up to it regularly, consider it off the list for the time being. The other solution would be to rent out the club-house in my community. The availability is somewhat limited and it's about $100 a go (with a $500 deposit), so unless about 20 of you guys want to give me $5 every two weeks, it probably isn't going to happen either. Regarding Post 12/17 Danisens, I can't run anymore Danisens until after I return from Japan (I'll be gone from 12/24 to 1/14), so it's safe to say that the end of Season 1 is on 12/17, regardless of whether or not there are any more Danisens. So yeah, post if you can make it to Super Arcade Bi-Weekly-ish. I'm willing to come out and even change the format to make it more LOUD ARCADE NOISES friendly.
