Aginor Posted October 22, 2011 Posted October 22, 2011 (edited) Welcome to Fatal Counter Saturdays...a Blazblue "weekly" (Will remove when it will truly be a weekly, after this holiday season) in Northern California. Purpose: I'm aiming to help fellow Blazblue players to level up in Northern California and to encourage new players to come join us and learn the game. There are not very many gatherings and if there are, they are very down low. In my opinion, the level of Blazblue in Northern California isn't that high but I hope to change it with these weeklies. Location: Gamecenter Arcade 47 South B Street San Mateo, CA 94401 Time: Every Saturday with the exception of Weekends with Norcal Blazblue Tournaments. 6PM - Closing NOTE: There may not be very many meet ups initially due to this season with all of its events and holidays. Aginor Posted October 22, 2011 Author Posted October 22, 2011 (edited) Initial Tentative Schedule 10/30/2011: First Meet 11/5/2011: NCI - No meeting 11/12/2011: No Meet - Cancelled 11/19/2011: Tight or Fight 4 - No meeting 11/26/2011: Thanksgiving Weekend - Meeting 12/3/2011: Meeting 12/10/2011: NCI 12/17/2011: SCR - No meeting 12/24/2011: Xmas - No meeting 12/31/2011: New Years Eve - Party at GC 1/7/2012: NCI After the upcoming NCI, we will resume normal meetings every Saturday. OrionXElite Posted October 31, 2011 Posted October 31, 2011 (edited) 2 Questions: 1st: How many people actually showed up? 2nd: I'd personally say we should move this to a weekday like Thursday or something cause Saturdays are gonna conflict with tournaments a lot so having a weekday gathering is usually more managable outside of people who need to work. If I remember correctly, Thursday's are usually kinda dead for GC on the weeks where TNT isn't happening so this could help just have something going on during the day instead of Myung being bored off his ass all day :3 My 2 cents though. You're forgetting the fact that I work. There's not much time to help people after I get off work + I have to deal with traffic. I'd rather do it on a constant basis so I keep getting practice in. Like I said, you're not forced to show up for these. If you want to come on a Saturday that's fine, and if you don't want to that's fine too. I'll just help the other people that show up get better.
ShelledMenace Posted November 2, 2011 Posted November 2, 2011 Well, this is just in my situation, but weekends are usually better for me 'cause I have class/work Mon-Thurs til 5 (and i'm just assuming some people have school lol). Though since it's kind of case by case, I figure weekends are just the general time for...free time. lol Also, thanks for setting this thing up Agi, I now have a reason to go to GC to improve/actually play BB with not COMs :v

Aginor Posted November 22, 2011 Author Posted November 22, 2011 It's pretty much every week on Saturday except under special circumstances like SCR since I'm going to that. I don't know about xmas weekend. Depends if Gamecenter is open (doubt it) and then New Years (doubt it again). :x We'll see.
