Bloodless08 Posted September 1, 2012 Posted September 1, 2012 I cannot get 2C to link into 214A~C~B EVER (midscreen). Is there any trick to this or timing? (Half the time I end up running under them from going too quickly, otherwise I wait too long and they always tech before Lunatic Upper catches 'em). I Just starting being able to connect a 2D(LV3) into (66) 2C midscreen; so I'm looking to turn that 2C into a corner carry combo with 214A~B~C. I pretty much have ALL of Makoto's other combos down though. P.S. - I'm playing on a PS Vita lol.
Bibiquadium Posted September 1, 2012 Posted September 1, 2012 2C into 214A~C~B only works if its max range 2C or FC close range, and it may work from close range on Tager with a tight timing. So I recommend using 2C 2D 66 2C 214A~C~B and for that the timing differs from almost every characters but it's most likely when the opponent is about at the same height as your shoulders that it should be input.

Bibiquadium Posted September 1, 2012 Posted September 1, 2012 Without any heat usage, it is pretty much the best option you may have, and if you get a CH on 5C frame trap or 5B, you can link in into a 2C 2D 66 2C 214A~C~B etc etc, but of course the best corner carry combo is off a grab, that's hard to beat (meterless), with meter it would be like 2A 5CC 214A~CCCC RC 66 into whatever but never use 2A 5B 5CC 214A~CCCC the 5B ruins it all and makes you unable to link a 2D after the RC (same for a few other combos).

(is hoping that i dont make a dumbnut out of myself) i went to training mode real quick and i managed to combo 2a 5b 5cc 214acccc RC 2d ETC just fine. if i have no idea what im talking about just completely ignore this post :D
