I guess the 3 extra heat from 2D is worth the small damage loss. You're not adding enough jump moves before the BE. For example, in the GH one, you gould add another CD which raises the damage to 4735 and the meter gain to about 50.

Got the extra CD in and I get 4761 damage, 40 heat. I imagine the difference in damage we found is due to BE height. About 50 heat though? I'm getting 40. Better than 33 still needless to say. From 2D(RC), doing jCDCD, they're teching before the CU 3C. Been doing this on Litchi btw.

On Bang and Mu the CU 3C is missing. Can someone confirm? Fluck Posted February 28, 2012 Posted February 28, 2012 Just a very minor addition, but it's actually possible to do j.C j.D JC j.C/D BE 6B 2C 5D for some combos. 5B 5C 2D RC is an example of such a combo. Do a normal jump instead of a super jump and delay your 5C after Dead Spike. This will add like 100 damage and 2 more heat to your combo.

Tong Posted February 29, 2012 Author Posted February 29, 2012 Hard to say, but... I dont have the game yet, but I believe that you should go for Belial Edge > 6B and Deadspike > 6B when possible. And before 5D's, try to add 2C (more untechable, therefore, mostly used for later combo parts) or 5C (more damage, less untechable). Midscreen, 5B 6A Gauntlet Hades/TK GH links are the best and works on everyone.

I've found that for 5B>6A>GH>5A, the 5A will whiff if you hit 5B at very close range on: Hakumen, Tsubaki, Tager, Taokaka, and Mu It does still work just not if you're really in their face. According to the wiki 5B>6A>tkGH>5B works on: Ragna, Jin, Noel, Rachel, Taokaka, Bang, Carl, Hazama, Makoto and Platinum

On Tager, if you're close enough to do 5B 6A, you might and well go for his Special [5B 5C (JC) j.B j.C j.D]x2 ... xlolxlolx Posted February 29, 2012 Posted February 29, 2012 uhhh going off memory u needed to either delay 6a or 214b on haku, works fine on mu, hitbox on cat and tsubaki are both retarded so close up it might possible if you delay 6a as long as possible, tager....mhm tager only combo @tong: orly? most of them were fine but some of the hitboxes were just fucking terrible to deal with, how's your friend is getting it to work on tsubaki and makoto lol

TheBossGiga Posted February 29, 2012 Posted February 29, 2012 Im sorry this has been bothering me but why does 2c 5d work at the end of some highly prorated combo's while 5c 5D doesnt, example: 3c (CH) 5c 5d DS 5c(jc) 4hit air combo BE 6b 2c 5d DID(1) punch 66 3c. like wtf is the deal isnt 5c a higher level move, and recovery on the move shouldnt matter because they both gat into 5d... thanks for the help.

Fluck Posted March 1, 2012 Posted March 1, 2012 There are spacings where 5B 6A works but the Tager loop doesn't. Actually, you pretty much need to be point-blank for the loop to work, whereas 5B 6A works from significantly further away. If 5B 6A GH isn't working then just do 5B 5C 6A.
