Setsuna Posted August 22, 2012 Author Posted August 22, 2012 Face it, if there was a cosplayer that also happened to match the character's age, you'd be all over it. So anime. Man any place with cosplayers (anime cons) is off limits at our age, bitches developed enough to cosplay Yoko are underage left and right >.>
Guardian Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 Holy shit R-Action's are life savers.... this weekend changed how I look at this game... I grab you 4 times in a row baiting R-Actions.... time for real man mix-ups.... R-Action again... Sigh... Adonis I will be sending a Friend request soon for p4A. Any other SFL heads that want some games in hit me up on PSN(tag is in the post). This made me LOL so hard. You sound like me back in BB, except R-actions don't lead to 4k+ dmg and oki (coughRAGNAJINNOELcough) Since the storm overloaded my modem, TV, and ps3, it might be awhile before I play on PSN again :-(. When everything is up and running tho I'll definitely hit you up.

You should play Cary, though I think his wake up priority goes: roll > awakening super > r-action > jump > 2A > regular super > block Edited August 22, 2012 by DC
Guardian Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 Labrys' awakening super is among the best in the game to use on wake up. If you can't cross her up there's pretty much no reason not to use it lol
DC Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 (edited) Yeah man fuck meter let me throw this bitch out there. It's not even like Agneyastra where it gives the character a well needed opening to advance forward, or even Mabufudyne where the character essentially gets 4 free mixups, her awakening super is straight up throw it out an wake up and hope the other person is pressing a button. If you can't get crossed up, I'm fairly certain you can jump on reaction. Either way yes, it is an option (just like r-actions), but there are a million better different ways to use meter, but if you want to use that option often, (along with every other option that isn't blocking) I'll just have to dumb myself down to play you like the second time I played Cary lol. Guardian Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 And thus begins the next level of mind games. Please jump to bait it out, so I can 2B you LOL
DC Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 I meant jump during the superflash. But please, try to 2b me on wake up.
Mechmainiac Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 Hey is anyone down for some offline practice at FAU before 7
DC Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 (edited) My tier list, of course IMO. S Tier: Aigis, Mitsuru A Tier: Yu, Teddie, Akihiko > Chie B Tier: Elizabeth > Shadow Labrys, Labrys > Naoto, Yukiko, Yosuke, Kanji Bad Tier: N/A Horizontal placement doesn't matter unless specified with a >. The existence of an (empty) of a bad tier is to emphasize that every character is completely viable. B tier is not "low" tier, it's just B tier. The characters above them may be "better" characters but that doesn't mean characters in the last tier are bad. CT Tager was a bad character. CS1 Noel was a bad character. IMO there are no "bad" characters in this game, but higher characters definitely have something about them (say, superior mixup, options, damage, matchups, etc) that makes them a more viable character. Also I honestly don't think there's enough data on Elizabeth and Shadow Lab to really accurately put them anywhere on the tier list, but to say Liz is the worst character in the game seems pretty baseless to me. Kurushii Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 IMO I can agree with the list, except I don't think Akihiko is better than Chie. I consider them equal. One has better damage while the other has better neutral and oki.
Cont Muffin Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 It's probably because of the fact that Elizabeth dies in 2 combos and has shitty reversal options. I don't think she's bad, well maybe in a tournament setting where alot of people play Mitsuru.
Demon Wind Bomb Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 Hey is anyone down for some offline practice at FAU before 7 Mention this only after I leave. Want to play tomorrow?
Romeyurhomey Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 My tier list is similar but I would switch some people up in the B tier. Personally, I like this game and had a good time at the tournament. I feel like I got robbed but hey there is always a next time and I can always cry and pick a different character. I won't be so much into this game because of teaching now but i'll do my best to participate as much in the scene. Whoever thinks Yu, Chie, or Shadow Labrys is not a dumb character then you're fucking retarded.
Romeyurhomey Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 If you weren't there, then it sucks to be you. Florida in a nutshell. Ignorant ass based niggas.

I think Teddie players will struggle in the early parts of this game.... I know I am and I see it at least on a US level. It's hard to create space with a character when people don't respect that character yet.... I've been seeing that same problem with Liz. Once the players get more refined this list should make more sense to me. But for right now... that mindless rush down and R-Actions rule the streets. Plus i'm pretty shitty overall in match-up exp so everything I just said could be wrong as fuck. Anyways I hope to see yall at the SEGC tourney this weekend!! High-Stakes Wall Scroll!!! lol....
Mechmainiac Posted August 24, 2012 Posted August 24, 2012 Mention this only after I leave. Want to play tomorrow? Man I wish I saw this before my internet got all screwy on me but now I gotta ask SFL Whos heading to ZP tomorrow
2link121 Posted August 24, 2012 Posted August 24, 2012 you should ask that in the Fb group because there's people who lurk this thread rather than post *coughmysticjuggernautmoosecough*
Kamano Posted August 27, 2012 Posted August 27, 2012 DC, I think at least 80% of the time I saw you on the stream, you were dancing good shit lol
