Quick few questions:

5A> 5B> 5C> 6A> 3C> AC Whiff> J2C> 5B> 5C> 6A> 2C> AC> GF Whiff> 6C> J2C> 3C> GF

Tsubaki tends to tech out after the 2C > AC, I'm I holding the AC too long or is there an alternative for her?

Also corner combos with 5B > 5C > A Sledge > Hammer (any character) is there meant to be a delay betweent the 5C and Sledge?

1. Hold the 6A a bit and delaying the 2C could help.

This is new and also a bit strange but have no fear I went to the lab and figured it out.

You do the sledge when the opponent begins his decent after getting hit by the 5C, if you do it right they will fall into the A sledge active frames and get hit.

Now you can do corner combos hazzah!

Oh hey, here's an easy "midcombo magnetism" combo, for 50 meter off of CH 5C:

CH 5C > 2D > RC > 5C > 6A > 3C > AC whiff > j2C > 5B > 5C > 6A > 2C > AC > GF whiff > 6C > j2C > 3C > GF

Does 4188 and builds 52 meter. It's pretty good for those moments when you want to punish something with 5C, but they're too far to really follow it with anything besides spark bolt (or this combo).

Anybody got anything good off of raw collider with only mag and no spark? I'm finding it hard to break 3K.

AC's P1 must be terrible...

That looks like it would work on Valk too.

It nets you a 100 more damage as well instead of doing 6a, 2c, AC. I tried it on everyone it only works on those two as far as i could tell.

New combo time!

CH 4D > j.2C > 5B > 5C > 6A > 2C > AC > GF whiff > 6C > j.2C > 3C > AC whiff > j.2C > 3C > GF

Does 2481 damage and builds 60 meter. Seems like the most you can get off of CH 4D.

Still, the first CH 4D combo listed in the first post (if you put a 2C after the 6A) does 2440 damage. So I guess it isn't that much gain. And trying to do CH 4D > j.2C at just the right time to make the rest of the combo work isn't much easier than AC whiff > 6C and gets harder the further away you were when you landed the 4D. Still, it's something.

What it's probably good for is when you get those 4D CHs when they're well off the ground, where normal combos don't work since it knocks them too high. The j.2C variant you suggest would bring them down and take their altitude out of the equation, which is cool.

Actually it does work on Carl. You have delay it slightly at the right moment. His hitbox is very wonky when doing it.

You can optimize that more:

CH5D>AC>ACWhiff>6C>j.2C>5B>ASledge>3C>ACWhiff>j.2C>5B>5C>Spark>6C>j.2C>3C>GF

gives a bit extra heat for most characters. It is a character specific combo in the case of the first j.2C and what you do after. I'll try and remember who exactly what worked on:

Ragna, Jin, Hakumen, Bang, Arakune, Valk, Hazama, Rachel, Makoto, Relius, Tao, Tsubaki:

...ACWhiff>6C>j.2C>5B>ASledge>3C>ACWhiff etc etc

Lambda, Mu, Noel, Litchi(MAYBE Carl):

...ACWhiff>6C>j.2C>ASledge>3C>ACWhiff etc etc

Platinum(Also maybe Carl):

CH5D>AC>j.DWhiff>j.2C>5B>ASledge>3C>ACWhiff etc etc

I don't remember off the top of my head the exact numbers for each combo. I know the most common one breaks 4K on the GF and I think it gets 70 meter. But I know theres the chance that one or 2 of those characters are in the wrong spot cause I forgot who goes where and not having the game means I can't test it so be sure to double check before you throw those in a match :3

Since I may not go to casuals tomorrow I will work tirelessly on updating this thread with some new combos, unfortunately I won't have exact numbers and that is where you guys come in.

I don't usually have enough space to have my laptop with me when I practice combos so I hope someone can fill in my blanks.

I will add the combos you guys posted here as well as the side switching combos, corner variation of the 150 heat combo, and hit confirms.

I hope you enjoy this.

Check this thread anytime tomorrow, that is if I don't go to casuals.

in the first combo, you forgot to put 2c in after 5C > 6B. I was wondering what i kept doing wrong because i only kept getting 8k until i watched the video.
