Mcgreag Posted January 30, 2012 Posted January 30, 2012 Using a Optoma HD65 DLP projector on a 131" screen here. Anyone knows about possible delay in projectors? Currently enough scrub that it won't make much difference but would be nice to know at least.
qwerty Posted January 30, 2012 Posted January 30, 2012 Projectors are only as laggy as their source. In your case, I wouldn't imagine there'd be much lag because you have a DLP projector. Could be wrong, though. Only way to know for sure is to test it.
Dagon Posted February 15, 2012 Posted February 15, 2012 As a follow-up, I ended up buying a Panasonic 32u3 off of amazon in an inventory clearance-style sale. So far it seems fine, I'm no where near good enough to tell if it lags more than 1-2 frames but I've heard that it's supposed to be under 1 frame on avg.
Azure Dragonius Posted February 15, 2012 Posted February 15, 2012 Really damn old Orion TV from the '90s. Not sure of the exact model. Obviously doesn't run HD, which doesn't matter to me. It's showing its age, though, I keep getting scan lines and various other things that impact the picture. The top 10% of the screen is cut off, too. No lag that I notice, though. I'll have to buy another one soon, regardless.
Kayin Posted February 16, 2012 Posted February 16, 2012 (edited) I'm using a Panasonic Viera TC-L32C3. http://www.amazon.com/Panasonic-VIERA-TC-L32C3-32-Inch-720p/dp/B004M8SBCK What little lag it has is sub-frame, I would have to dig up the posts though. Edited February 16, 2012 by Kayin
