bakahyl Posted May 25, 2012 Posted May 25, 2012 How do you chase Valkenheyn with Relius? Ignis can't catch him when he is flying around in his wolf form, relius' 2c is easy baitable and i don't seem to have confidence winning any air to air battle against him.
Guardian Posted May 29, 2012 Posted May 29, 2012 This match up is not in your favor. If valk is running away, the best option is to just let him. Wolf gauge doesn't last forever, and eventually he'll have to come back to the ground. If you find your 2c being baited a lot, us it in concert with 4D. This will be necessary to keep him honest. j.3/6/9D are also good for air spacing. If you get him to block, RSTD, and use lots of shenanagans to make him guess. If he starts making you guess w/ wolf it's pretty much game over; Relius has the worst tools to counter poke valk w/o ignis, and wolf is virtually impossible to guess on consistently.
