I input Shippu at the same instant you did 5D, you were in the beginning frame of Hazama's 5D but you were allowed to instantly orange burst anyway. I've lost so many times because of it. You'll see a lot of people block SIR when they shouldn't be able to (i.e. Ragna's just beginning his 5C, then he suddenly blocks it) Edited January 6, 2013 by Ctrlaltwtf

mAc Chaos Posted January 6, 2013 Posted January 6, 2013 The super flashes have been eating a lot of my inputs lately. So many times I'll hop into what I know is a Houtenjin or Magna Tech Wheel, putting in Hotaru, but then somehow the superflash happens and it's like I didn't do anything. Which is weird since usually whatever you put in during the freeze, the game holds onto until the flash is over. It's just weird. Obvious answer is I didn't put the input in, but I know I did.

mAc Chaos Posted January 6, 2013 Posted January 6, 2013 You can barrier cancel some moves, ie., go straight into barrier if you do it early enough into a move. The super flash can give you time to do it. So maybe you hit the burst buttons and it went straight from the move into barrier into burst.

Gold always attempts full screen DD and i usually hit tsubaki's 5D charge AFTER and i'll still be able to block. EDIT: lime, you've just learned why you should never try to use SIR to counter anything stronger than a 5A lol.
