One day, the BBverse is gonna get so wrapped up in broken abilities that it'll reach Pokédex Entry levels of absurd. Vision, psh. -
blazblue BlazBlue: Central Fiction [RIP PROGRESS]

Neat. Though just a reminder not to post the BGM here. Everything else is good to go, though. -
This is the one and only time I am going to remind people this. This thread is not for guesses or wonders. Hearsay, interpretations of the pretty pictures you saw in the language you didn't understand, etc; not the place. This is even stricter on this Dustloop because unlike with during CP, I do not know of a way to move posts, so I will simply delete them, and from this point, enforce infractions. Facts, sources, questions. Real simple.

The rules of both the BBCF Arcade Plot thread and the BBCP Speculations thread apply here. Spoilers will be present and may be posted without warning. Try to stay under control. Please? Neat. Despite No-fun Bot above, it's ok to have a bit of fun. For now.
-
The basic rules of the general Arcade thread still apply, and the guidelines from the BBCP Story thread also carry over to this one. I may try to keep some of the reliable, more synopsis-based posts highlighted in this first post, but don't hold me to it as they may be numerous and I may be busy in the first few days of launch. It should be obvious that spoilers will be present in this thread. A user may use their own discretion on whether or not to hide a spoiler behind a spoiler tag, but they are not obligated to do so. Even if the very next post outright displays the ending of the game, I will let it rock. Speculation belongs in the appropriate thread, not in this one.

Central Fiction Arcade Plot Discussion (spoilers)
Chaoschao222 replied to Chaoschao222's topic in Zepp Museum
This is in no way the place to be discussing that. Stop. Take your gameplay to gameplay. -
To everyone, please stop making generalizations. In regards to companies, fans adamant for dubbing, fans apathetic to dubbing, and everything in between. Keep in mind that you are an individual. You know what you want. You don't know what everyone else wants, you don't know what the company/ies want. You also cannot see the future. PS: If you can see the future, please hook up the sick lotto numbers. I'll let you post whatever you want if you do, promise.

Central Fiction Arcade Plot Discussion (spoilers)

I've gone over that. Exact same situation as CP. Two threads, one for facts, one for speculation borne from facts. Arcade vs Story mode vs. Library vs etc. doesn't matter. -

Both will be completely full of spoilers. If one is waiting for the English release, those threads will be a sad experience. -

No; one for factual story information and discussion, and one for speculations founded upon these facts. Too much misinformation may spread when factual discussion and speculative discussion are in the same place. -

This thread will die, and two more will replace it, just as was the case for Chrono Phantasma. -

As a note, if people wanna speculate on who that mystery emblem belongs to, I'm fine with it so long as the discussion does not deform into hoping it's x's and that they can be playable. -
Ah, yeah, it definitely looks like it's too slow.

Act II is only so useful for anything given that the endings (for the most part) all reflect wishes, dreams, or memories of the characters. Luna and Sena may not be separate at all. They even question the scene themselves during the ending, wondering since when were they separate or with Jubei. It was an ideal world, but not necessarily a true reflection of their past. -
There is no too quick. If the two arrows show up, then you can't go too quickly. Too slow is a possibility, though CT was a fairy lenient game, if I remember. Ultimately, it's hard to really determine what the issue is without seeing you attempt to dash. If you double tap 4 or 6 quickly it should result in a dash. There's no more trick to it than most things. If you have a way to capture your gameplay, it'd be easier to try and figure out what the problem is. As for Carl, a variety of things could be happening. They could be taunting while moving Nirvana, they could attacking while moving her, they could be doing a move where she independently moves such as Fuoco or Anima, or they could be crouching and moving her with 1 or 3. If Carl is in neutral, he should not be able to move Nirvana without himself moving as well.

You want to make sure the analog returns to a non-adjacent position or returns to neutral position (5) between your 66 or 44. So doing something like 414 will not result in a backdash and likewise 636 would not grant a forward dash. If you are having issues with consistency, it may be that you are not letting the analog move back into place before attempting to press 6 or 4 again. When you play do you have the input display option enabled in Training Mode? If not, turn it on and verify that when you attempt to dash that two arrows show up. I have always preferred analog over d-pad on Xbox due to the positioning being more natural, though I never really had any issues with consistency on the controller's end.

Frankly, you don't know any of this. I understand that people are upset, but I'm done with users posting as though they were in the pertinent offices and meetings watching these decisions be made and know every aspect of their business practices. Moving forward, this thread is to discuss ASW voice acting, discuss disappointment/apathy/joy at there being no dub in BlazBlue's latest installment, or various things along those lines. But do not embrace your inner business/marketing/forestry degree and spout conspiracy theories or assumptions about what has transpired with no basis other than your own disappointment.
-
I'm fine with this. BB has a nice dub, but I can't say I want the voices over the game itself. I can't justify denying ASW or Aksys profit when the game is still good. If the localization itself ends up being sub-par, that's a different story, but the dub is certainly not at the top of my priorities here. I won't lose out on hundreds of hours of fun I will personally get from the game due to ~40 hours of plot where I'd be like 'huh, wish they were saying what I was reading.'

Central Fiction Arcade Plot Discussion (spoilers)

What I posted in the RH thread applies here, too. If people want to discuss Mai's appearance in CF, factor in that we know little currently before doing so. -

Chaoschao222 replied to churchblue's topic in Zepp Museum
I will say this ahead of time; Mai being added to the playable roster opens up discussion on how she got to where she is. However, we know very little currently, which means that speculations on this matter with any reliable grounding are few and far between. If you want to talk about Mai in CF, make sure you've got something to stand on, rather than arbitrarily thinking up scenarios. And of course, there is absolutely no place for gameplay discussion/theorizing for her here. -
Pricing a console game at the same cost as console games would hardly be a surprise, dub or not. You can speak with your wallet, but the projected price is not remotely outlandish.
-
As-is, it's just that. An idea. You know nothing about the current circumstances, there's no need to catastrophize everything just because we're in the dark. This goes for everyone. It may be worrying to some that there's nothing known on whether or not CF will be dubbed, but you still ultimately know nothing. Nobody has come out and said "yep, game's going to be JP only because fuck you poor saps we're gonna save money AND make money off you idiots anyway lololol."

Where was this? I didn't see it, but it's definitely nonsense. No such rule will ever exist. The last thing I want is for people who provide info to be driven away.
