Enigmos Posted July 13, 2012 Posted July 13, 2012 i heard if you preorder you get a soundtrack. That is always good enough for me lol. Though i will be spending too much money come august for games. Persona, Last Story and, New super mario bros 2. Just too much And with my luck torchlight 2 would come out then too D: How will i ever pay for my monthly comics!!!!!!
Chris Chaos Posted July 13, 2012 Author Posted July 13, 2012 oh and shin you got to be on XBL tomorrow man Can't make any promises but I will try. Most of my day will be used for completing the Yu threads, I have the data thread to work on so until that gets done, I won't be playing games online. I started something and I gotta finish it for these guys.
xerocool Posted July 13, 2012 Posted July 13, 2012 yeah i understand im just meant whenever you had time to get on the XBL hit me up
BlinKy Posted July 13, 2012 Posted July 13, 2012 i heard if you preorder you get a soundtrack. That is always good enough for me lol. Though i will be spending too much money come august for games. Persona, Last Story and, New super mario bros 2. Just too much And with my luck torchlight 2 would come out then too D: How will i ever pay for my monthly comics!!!!!! You mean I get an entire CD full of ENGRISH j-pop and BATTLE instrumentals!? SIGN me UP!!! joking aside I just don't want to feel obligated to buy it on the day of, but I might
Enigmos Posted July 13, 2012 Posted July 13, 2012 Lol! yeah when you put it that way it does seem funny. But being a fan of battle instrumentals seems fine to me instead of having to find the soundtrack online for like 20 bucks lol. But hey thats just me.. people collect figures, i collect soundtracks
BlinKy Posted July 13, 2012 Posted July 13, 2012 collecting anything is good, but on the matter of Engrish http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PVwUX9Q5M9w&feature=related
Enigmos Posted July 13, 2012 Posted July 13, 2012 lol that was funny XD. honestly though i only care for the instrumental songs, like the blazblue and guilty gear character themes. other than that it would have to be some top of the notch japanese or engrish songs to interest me. Infact the only engrish song like is Jin vs Tsubaki theme (forgot what its called). Other than some minor errors it almost sounded english(to me at least).
Enigmos Posted July 13, 2012 Posted July 13, 2012 lol well on the topic of engrish http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9F5p1_hR2Ws&feature=related
BlinKy Posted July 13, 2012 Posted July 13, 2012 (edited) I do believe its called cross-line. and I wasn't trying to bash them just trying to throw out sarcasm. but have you seen how the japs see american english? I find it hilarious http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ot-xbwUZ6og edit: that was just horrible, what you posted. hilariously hurt ears Edited July 13, 2012 by BlinKy
xerocool Posted July 13, 2012 Posted July 13, 2012 the best view on how japs see america watch panty and stocking
Enigmos Posted July 13, 2012 Posted July 13, 2012 Wait but wasnt that kid a little girl why did she go all beserk XD. Man it must suck having to dub the engrish scenes since it wont really make sense.
BlinKy Posted July 13, 2012 Posted July 13, 2012 (edited) pera pera pera-inko pera pera-inchio pera? edit: that girl has a complex similer to Ed's from full metal well actually the same complex Edited July 13, 2012 by BlinKy
Enigmos Posted July 13, 2012 Posted July 13, 2012 (edited) oh i see. Then again that guy shouldn't be going to a foreign country without at least knowing some of the language. Edited July 13, 2012 by Enigmos
SenXXi Posted July 13, 2012 Posted July 13, 2012 I don't like to watch shows over 15 eps. If it's good I'll give 25-30eps a chance. and my personal opinion on things: Guilty Crown: High production budget. Garbage show Madoka: Good show, great twist on the genre. By all means not a 10/10 show but it's a good tragedy that plays out well. Bakemono/Nismono: The script and art direction for these shows is just incredible. The word play is just great. Bakemono is a well told love story. Nisemono is subpar to its predecessor, and it can get really fanservicey but still an entertaining watch. Steins;Gate: Probably my favorite show from last year. Good characters, good story, good script, lots of pop culture references, good music, and actually a good ending. Fate/Zero: This just finished recently, and if you can handle the pacing, the show is a great watch. Of course all the above is just my opinion and everyone is subject to their own say, but with my schedule I don't have time to waste on a subpar series that isn't or won't entertain me.
xerocool Posted July 13, 2012 Posted July 13, 2012 guess im the only one that actually liked guilty grown Madoka: had that unexpected which was pretty cool but it felt like that they could drew it out more Bakemono/Nisimono: both were great but nisemono didnt have gripper like bakemono had but still good steins gate: never watched it fate/zero: kinda scared to watch it lol well i have enough time to watch all type stuff till September
xerocool Posted July 13, 2012 Posted July 13, 2012 @Sen oh i forgot i talked to the guy that runs the game division in acen and he's going to show me the lineup and what they have in store for it , which day did you go to the game room?
SenXXi Posted July 13, 2012 Posted July 13, 2012 Never really lol. I usually go there to see how the layout is, but for the most part I'm uninterested and spend most of my time at dealers.
xerocool Posted July 13, 2012 Posted July 13, 2012 i guess you'll see me at my finest then lol we get to cosplay next year which would be pretty cool
xerocool Posted July 13, 2012 Posted July 13, 2012 im thinking bout going to youmacon with some friends no i need to go
SenXXi Posted July 13, 2012 Posted July 13, 2012 Not sure if I'm going to Youmacon. It really depends on the guests.
xerocool Posted July 13, 2012 Posted July 13, 2012 we get a discount on entrance and some dealers from working with them we wont get a final detail on which ones until like a few weeks before youmacon

I would say my favorite show from last year would be Mashiro-iro Symphony. I found it breath taking... plus there was a scene that was INSINUATED to the EXTREME damn so many cons so little time and money
xerocool Posted July 13, 2012 Posted July 13, 2012 i need to get all my posters laminated so i can hang them up
SenXXi Posted July 13, 2012 Posted July 13, 2012 Frames ftw I don't see myself going to any upcoming cons, so I'll probably be spending it going to majors
