Our group has been getting quite a bit of attention and interest here and we all welcome you. As you probably already know, we have casuals at Ignite, Galloping Ghost and Nickel City as hit has already been stated and we're having our first Persona 4 Arena casuals on the 11th of August at Nickel City. We have a little ways to go until then but we're preparing to make it worthwhile. Once again, welcome to the group and hope to see you soon!

Please, do not let the lack of others here on Dustloop stop you from going to the gaming spots. I cannot emphasize this any more than I have before, if you can go there, do so. I'm all about having offline meets but I may not be able to attend all of them due to my various jobs and such, but don't let that stop you from going.

I'm located in Springfield Illinois and my games as of right now are UMVC3, Skullgirls, and Persona 4 when it comes out, though I'm certainly willing to try out other games. Anyone up for a few games? Nice to meet you. I'd recommend also creating an account on Shouruken.com if you don't already have one, I know that in The Dojo > Regional Matchmaking > Midwest there's a thread for Central IL players, obviously being SRK they may be more Street Fighter-oriented, but they also play Marvel for sure and I'd be surprised if someone there doesn't pick up P4U. Otherwise if you have transportation and don't mind the scenic drive up 55(oof lol, I was born in Decatur, I know it well), we have gatherings the days a week and also somewhat larger monthly tournaments in Northbrook.

I still feel awful about my actual lack of knowledge in matchups and my own character, but after not playing the game for a long time it felt pretty good to see how my general FG skills have improved the past few months, I was blocking mixups on reaction and stealing rounds just on pure spacing/fundamentals.

I stuck with doing Mahvel combos last night and doing homework after classes... I just got hit up with a huge assignment so I don't know if I'll be going to NC this Saturday, i'll be pushing it if I do but if I can knock everything out today and early tomorrow, I'll try to make an appearance.
