Another pretty even set of teams, what the heck? After this much good luck, they'll be completely rigged next time, I'm sure of it. This tournament was really goofy, shoutouts to Doug getting carried to victoly, Chaos on the second place team, and Fuck Merkava successfully defending top 3 from Akatsuki (shoutouts also to Haku for almost getting Akatsuki to third place), not to mention that there was a first round match between Fuck Merkava and Bed and Breakfast with Merkava (Nude). Hope to see everyone next week!

Is there any plan to expand the size of the game room in GGA?  They opened up that other storage section.  I know space is super limited and it'd require a lot of work to make it available if that's even possible.  Just wondering if there's anything in motion along those lines.

I need help in Blazblue. I've been playing for a while but stopped playing for a few months. Came back and there's not really alot of people online anymore so I want to try this offline thing. I play Amane, I can probably  make it out to Ignite on my own, but not galloping ghost. My PSN is FNC_Savior, I stay near united center.

We do random team 2v2s every week at ignite, since there's 3 games now we're doing 2 tournaments a week rotating one of the games. This week it's UNiB and p4u2, next week UNiB will be replaced by BB. GGA is where we run ranbats, so it's full double elim tournaments for each game (as far as I know nothing will be dropped for p4u2). There's lots of time for casuals at both (more space at ignite though).

Also if you want amane advice J money (@Kelvin_J_Money on twitter) is the best source. You can also ask me but I'm bad. In general we're all a lot more active on twitter (maybe also facebook? I'm a hipster that doen't use fb so IDK) than dustloop if you're looking for a ride or immediate netplay.

As a reminder of the rotation, next week we'll be running BBCP and P4U2, and unlike this week's, one will be starting before the other for smoothness' sake (at Noah's discretion since we'll probably be streaming P4U2). We're usually on the side next to SF due to the Red Focus Ranbats but having BBCP on the side is better off than not having it at all, right?

Oh, oops, I'm a little late to this again, but here's the results for the BBCP 2v2 that we ran alongside the P4U2 2v2 last night. Glad the turnout was still fairly strong for BBCP, all things considered, especially since yesterday's gathering had a fairly low turnout in general. As a reminder, next week's tournaments will be BBCP and UNIEL, and in the interest of having a little less overlap, we'll start those at 8:30pm and 9:30pm respectively rather than both at 9pm. Hey y'all, it's this week's random 2v2 results post, but instead of making some kind of crack about Grant being the final boss or something, I've got an announcement to make!

 

Next week, instead of the usual random 2v2 rotation, we'll be running beginner's tournaments for each of the new releases this month. Arcana Heart 3 Love Max and Persona 4 Arena Ultimax (P4U2) will be featured. These tournaments will be free entry as usual, and open only to players who are not established in each game, with copies of each game on the line for the winners! CTY has volunteered a copy of AH3LM, and ShinSyn has volunteered a copy of P4AU; this event couldn't happen without their generous contributions, so be sure to thank them!
