Sen, thanks for stepping up and helping Blinky out, like I said, this month is looking bad for me so I probably wont be able to join you guys but as long as the majority of the scene can get together and play, it's all good.

I am your IL BB/P4U co-hypeman. I said I was stepping up before Cali, but after my trip there and experiencing first hand at how close their scene is, I really want to push for our own growth. I'm well aware that IL won't ever reach SoCal levels, but we can still stick together and grow with what we have. Also sorry I've been kind of slacking with the whole SJ6 plans. I'm still down, but things were kind of hectic with AX all last week and I've been stuck at work everyday since I got back last Tuesday and I'm not off til next Tuesday hahahah. Once I get a few days to recharge I'll get back to solidifying and finalizing the trip *salutes* '=]

SenXXi Posted July 8, 2012 Posted July 8, 2012 I play(ed) IaMP on pad. Everything else I play on stick. Don't worry about brushing up, like I said I don' actively play those games. And if it looks like I'm "tier whoring" (which shouldn't even matter) the characters I use(d) have always been who I started the game with. i.e. Viper and Seth I used since vanilla then dropped Seth when they changed the timing on his stomps since I didn't care enough to learn, Zero and Dante I used in vanilla, BB I started playing this March and I've always used Litchi. Yukiko I will use in P4U because she's Yukiko and I said so.

About SJ6, no need to rush, these bastards haven't sent my check yet (they claim they have but it hasn't come in yet...)! So now I have to wait on the 11th so they can resend it again, but since I have an account with them now, I just hope they drop the cash in my bank account instead, I'll get it at a much faster rate if that's the case. In any case, I should get it before August so Chaos and I are still down and I'll pay you up front when I have the money on hand the next time I see you. guess ill need to brush up then . so what do you play on pad or stick? i use a te madcatz stick I prefer TE madkatz but as of late I've been forced to play pad. I'm equally skilled on both but I do have a preference.

Also same goes to you, no rush on SJ6 since I know we'll get to it eventually. and xero, what I CAN tell you about me, is that I don't get salty and I don't rage (both on netplay and irl). I'm a pretty chill person but what I CANNOT tolerate is using a stick that is other than mine. I can seriously only use my own stick and I am unable to adapt. Shin saw this first hand at the last NC meet and I almost raged hahaha. Same thing happened when I was in LA and had to play with those stock HRAP3s. Luckily I wasn't playing for anything so it didn't affect me, but still I blame all my dropped combos on that stick. *shakes fist*

I've been looking into Cap/Wesker/ and someone to fill in the last slot, that I don't know, but to fill you in, this is my list of main/sub for the list of games I have played: BB: Jin/Mu/???(Secret Summer Jam Sub lol) GG: Johnny/Sol/Chipp SSFIV: Rose/Ken 3S: Alex/Ken KOF: Kyo, Shen & Leona (sometimes Ryo) VF5: Jackie T6: Murdock/Jin MBAACC: H-Akiha/C-Ryougi Any other game, I have little to no knowledge of how to play. What Sen says is true, I have not seen him rage in a game, though NC was a close call lol. What I rage about is dropping combos that cost me the game/round so thats more of a self-inflicted rage, none toward the other player. Edited July 8, 2012 by Shinsyn

The environment is so nice and clean, but unfortunately I won't be making any Ignite Mondays or GGA Thursdays since I work every Mon and Thurs along with my rotating weekend for this coming semester :< and Shin, use Vergil if playing to win. I choose my characters off of looks and fun combos. I don't care if I win as long as the combos have swag.

If these guys car pool for me, sure. (God i hope i can rake up the venue fee)

(keep in mind im not really good at that game so i really know nothing about it.)
