Yes, as far as I am aware the arcade version and the PS3 version have the same balance.

As for the tier list... where was that thread? Anyway, off the top of my head:

Top: Zappa, Millia, Chipp, Dizzy, Faust
Mid: Everyone not listed
Low: Sol, Venom, Robo-Ky, Bridget.

Or something like that. The game's pretty well balanced, though, so "low tier" is still good enough to win.

I didn't want to make a whole new thread to ask this question, but is AC+R still pretty busy on steam?

Until I get Xrd I'd like something to get better at GG with as I currently suck, and I mean really suck. I'd love to have someone to play with regularly and can help me improve even if it's just by beating my ass, thanks.

The experience of playing +R on Steam is better than ever thanks to the work of Team French Caliburst. It is not hyperbole to say that their work implementing top flight netcode and matchmaking for this game is one of the best things to happen to the entire fighting game genre.

Not only that, but ArcSys switched Strive to rollback netcode after +R's rollback success, and Xrd got rollback afterwards. +R's rollback was part of the push for the new age of rollback being the standard.

Something underappreciated about the +R Steam experience that I wanna take this chance to shout out is just how fast it is to start playing the game. Compared to every other fighting game I've ever played online, I can boot the game, get on Quick Match, and be hitting buttons against another person consistently much faster than in any other game I've ever played. Probably at least triple the speed of the next fastest game on average. It's incredible.

Helps that it's such a lightweight game to begin with.
