dnoyeb Posted February 22, 2012 Posted February 22, 2012 video - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QIa9YDCjtqI http://www.sendspace.com/file/io4u0q Play as Hakumen who can switch forms between his old self. The point is to keep the opponent dizzy and in the air for as long as possible to gain experience. At start 3 skills are unlocked + cancel (it makes the character do the end frame of the current attack). You can unlock more skills by gaining experience. Use arrow keys to move and letter keys to do moves. For example ddq is the weapon summoning. asdw can be related to blazblue 4268 and q the attack button. I'm planning on adding more moves and doing this for other characters, you can recommend which. I'm thinking about doing order-sol and also adding his dragon transformation into combos. If someone knows where i can find ultimate marvel vs capcom 3 sprites, i'd like to do some characters from there too. Game looks much better when playing. I tried to keep the video size small.
dnoyeb Posted February 22, 2012 Author Posted February 22, 2012 What What yourself. It's as if you've never seen a fighter before.
dnoyeb Posted February 22, 2012 Author Posted February 22, 2012 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=athMFva08AI&feature=youtu.be Added some new moves. Made opponent flying a bit less straight away. You can press R to restart, if you're not happy with your starting move set. Incase anyone is confused, the battle system works based on cooldowns, so you can't spam the same move over and over and have to unlock new moves to do longer combos. I'm going to have to see some support, if i'm going to keep posting new updates on this forum. I hope all of you are not jerks. This could become an interesting game with some support. http://www.sendspace.com/file/h7tpip
Blade Posted February 22, 2012 Posted February 22, 2012 Keep at it, sir, you have a long road ahead to programming. Don't slack off on animations just because you aren't interested in them. Be cohesive, be consistent, and bear in mind people need to understand what the hell is going on in the games you create.
Xtra_Zero Posted February 23, 2012 Posted February 23, 2012 Do graphics last imo. Mechanics are the foundation for everything else.
