yeah it was a 1 bar alright, but honestly for NC to CA better than would be expected. i totally barriered that last cavalier.

i still burst too early often when playing against characters with dumb primer breaking capabilities.

What's the hitbox for arrows of heaven look like? I keep thinking I can challenge it and get over it, but then I find myself getting hit by it.

things started getting weird with those mu matches, l cant say l wasnt a little salty after seeing 5b whiff vs a point blank crouching hazama. perhaps due to not playing her a few months...? has to be. the rest of the matches were fun though, ggs nosales

Half jokes aside, I think you really do play the characters I have most trouble against, partially since I have trouble finding people that play them. Other parts being I mash and die due to frame traps or mid range pokes.

Also, who's a good character to play if you love to be in the air a lot? I'm not sure Hazama is cutting it for, me at the moment.

not sure on AoH hitbox, i'd assume it's something like an inverted J depending on the side it's used, and also an inverted r in the air.

l like playing the not-as-played characters. they tend to be the most fun.

not alot of characters particularly love the air. haz is actually one of them. tao, valk, relius, bang, they have gameplans involving lots of air I suppose. jin fares decently in the air, so does hakumen. carl rounds up the bunch.

I've tried out a few of them, so I guess I might try/improve them. I'm not sure if aerial stuff is what I'm really looking for, actually. Hazama isn't as fun/interesting to play as he was when I started playing back in CS2, so I'm trying to find someone new to play.

If you like air game, try Melty. Double jumps don't eat airdashes.

And yeah, Hazama is probably as good as you're gonna get for this game.

I actually like Melty a lot. I'm not very good with it, but I found it real fun and solid, along with having TM characters made it more enjoyable. Only problem I have with it is the netcode, since I'm mainly only netplay. Also, I'm not sure if there are many/any players in DC Metropolitan area.

I'm probably gonna just experiment around with different characters and wait for CP to see if any of the new characters/changes seem fun to me.

Err, you have netcode issues? CCCaster is pretty solid. If you're metro/DC, you could prolly get at least d3 to Jersey

EDIT: I also think there are a couple of DC/metro guys in MBAA IRC. Allen and LBS are DC/metro, iirc, and I'm VA myself, though not DC/metro
