  1. It looks like a MOBA model, and I find that really concerning, because it's likely having a fully unlocked setup is going to be fairly expensive. Furthermore, having access to content might require being logged into your account, etc. Basically, it'll be good for netplayers and shit for TOs and offline play. I find this highly concerning.
  2. You're telling me you don't call it Gordcopter? smh
  3. It's probable there's little word on Nanase because no one knows what she was like before now. You can only know what's changed if you have a basis for comparison.
  4. If you want to play people, ask people directly. I won't check the game, but if someone asks me, I'll play
  5. The staple mixup for Linne is just hit/throw on pressure reset, since Linne's dash throw has such good range. Linne also has one strangely effective mixup: 236C> roll through two to four times > assault j.C You'd think this would stop hitting people almost a year into the game's US lifespan, but noooooooooooope. If I'm bored I'll make a point of seeing how many times I can roll through before I get punished. I recommend just watching Fuse to see what Linne pressure looks like. I picked up a couple of tricks I use somewhat often (assault j.a whiff throw, fake meaty 2b [2b whiffs and mvoes you forward] throw), in addition to more general Linne pressure tricks. Re: neutral, kuuga/air kuuga/tk kuuga/2b/2c/dash C/dash 5a are the things I recommend getting comfortable with fast.
  6. Don't otg with 214b~a, the 2c is earlier than you think, probably... Iunno. Getting j.2b 2c is just a matter of practice. It's dead easy once you do, though. And as for 2c 6ccc... honestly, just mash it if you can't feel the timing. You'll probably get it.
  7. If you think Gordeau is broken, you haven't seen characters that actually break their games. Gordeau is S-tier as hell, but he is -actually possible to deal with-. (P.S. Fuck C-Roa)
  8. To be clear, you're trying to do 2abc 214b~a tk.236b j.b j.6b j.c j.2b 2c 6ccc?
  9. It's not only aesthetics (though that's why I hate it the most). After playing 1k+ games, the difference is just really distracting. Information looks different and takes up different amounts of visual space.
  10. I honestly think they could've made some minor fixes and kept the feel of most of the Engrish instead of totally redoing it. Most of those localizations don't even use the same diction. E.G. of something I'd do: [table]The time of despair begins. It's neck or nothing. To survive, there's No choice but to defeat others.[/table] It's not that hard to keep the original feel intact.
  11. To me, it really ruins the minimalistic aesthetic the HUD had. The intentionally straight lines formed by the bottoms and tops of the capitalized letters, the uniformity of height -- all gone. I mean, it's obvious the caps lock was done on purpose. The word "Point" isn't caps lock'd, and neither is the "1st" in "1st CLAUSE." So why change it...? It also doesn't help matters that the font they're using just -looks bad-, and the way they use it is also poor. Hell, the uncapitalized "g" in "Challenger" runs over the health bar. I'm a lot less worried about fixing the Engrish text. That makes sense (though I wish it had been done in a way that better kept the feel of the original), and even if it messes up the look of the pre-match cut-ins, it's not as big a deal, since I don't have to constantly look at it. But this HUD is driving me nuts.
  12. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3NWrolzfFeY Click the boxes to show a quick comparison: Aksys: [collapse] [/collapse] Original:[collapse] [/collapse] I was planning on buying another copy when the game came out in English to support the localization, but this deters me a lot. Why would you change parts of the HUD that are obviously stylistic choices and are already in English?
  13. It's just your run of the mill ArcSys netcode. Same failings and successes.
  14. This topic is great. The fact people are complaining about a 1f input buffer increase is even better. Y'all are worse masochists than I am if you wanna drill wakeup options that hard. I'm not gonna say it's just a game, but I'd rather be thankful that I can spend more time playing and less time training. The meat of the game isn't going to change because DP has a 3f buffer instead of a 2f buffer now. And seriously, it was only, you know, basically a 3f buffer before because of negative edge. So iunno what everyone is on about.
