We do not provide controllers, we advice all visitors to bring their own pads/arcade stick, though there are members of the community that are kind enough to lend you one to play your games.

How often will these sessions be held?

The event is held Bi-Weekly with casuals, Tournaments are held once a month

What are the prices like?

£5 for venue fee

Why are we doing this?

In order to make BlazBlue and offline gameplay more accessible to players.

Allow others to learn more about the game in a stimulating environment.

Offline competition is always better than online.

Getting there:

The closest Station to the place is Piccadilly Circus which is on the Piccadilly and Bakerloo lines. Once you exit the barriers you take the exit to the left which has the 'Trocadero' sign. Do not go outside into the high street.

Pass through the automatic doors and continue to walk forward through all the break dancers (lol) and once you're near the escalators go up, and then turn left, it will be right there in front of you.

The prices from the 25th April onwards will now be raised from £3 to £5, because it is needed to cover for the price raise Gamerbase introduced as well as covering for the setups.

Notification:

Next Astral Heat session will be the same entry fee of £5, but now session will start at 5pm and finish at 11pm giving players more time for games. Tournament and stream will be scheduled same time between 6:30 - 10:30pm

Community help:

To have the event running more smooth, I'm asking anyone in the community if they are able to bring a PS3. We've had volunteers in past session; Telamonn, EXonestar, Commander Nippon, I like to thank all of them.

Update:

Hi all! Wednesday 30th May is the 2on2 Astral Heat bonus event, be sure to come down, find a partner and get those GGs! Feel free to use this thread to find a partner.

Rules:

Players from each team will be assigned to the characters of their choice, and should be different from their partners. You'll play with that character through the tournament.

Sets will be run as such:

Team members A from both teams play versus one another (one match best-of-3-Rebels)

Then members B from both teams play.

If the victors of the matches were on the same team, they proceed to their next set/opponents.

If the victors were on opposite teams, they play a final match to get the final verdict.

Depending on how many teams enter, it may be a Round Robin tournament or Double Elimination.

Venue fee is £5 per person as usual.

During the months of July and August there will not be any 'regular' Astral Heat sessions at Gamerbase, due it's busy period they will be experiencing as well as the Olympics etc

Astral Heat: Persona 4 Arena Summer Event

There is a lot of excitement with the next upcoming Persona 4 Arena event, especially after the success of the last one back in August, however we can not forget to announce our biweekly.

The first week of our new season was held on September 19th.

The next sessions in line are

BlazBlue:

3rd October - 6:30-11pm

17th October - 6:30-11pm

31st October - 6:30-11pm

Persona 4 Arena:

6th October - 12-10pm

We hope that all our veterans and new comers get back in rhythm.

We are officially back!

As I said on the Arc forum. I approve of the Rachel poster I hope to try and attend one day but college gets in the way of things. I'll keep tabs on further AH news and see if I can take the oppertunity to pop down to one someday

'Super Versus Battle' ran by NeoEmpire makes a return this year year on the 8-9th December, there will be a community run tournaments managed by NthGen Interactive supported by Zen United. Be sure to get more details on that on this link.
