WhyTheHellnaut Posted June 28, 2012 Posted June 28, 2012 Casuals on Sat. This time, I'd like to go to the truck stop diner instead of the Denny's if that's okay with everyone. Only a few people complained about the truck stop's food, but more people complained about having to drive 20 minutes out of their way to get to the Denny's in Southington, whose food a lot of people also complained about. It doesn't seem worth it in any way, imho. I'll still see if there's any other diners open that would be better either way though.

I was thinking of going but the other thread is kinda dead. a lot of people show up for ranbats on friday, and it gets really crowded and tthere is always good hype. i dont know why the threads are dead because there are always people there, but its usually for marvel and street fighter. few people play blazblue and gg there, but there are some casuals for them too, and small side tourneys (but thee prizes had to come out of our pocket) sorry i wont see you tomorrow but if you ever want a brain box session just tell me when and ill try to meet you thursday nights used to be anime night but school screwed me over so i only went fridays

On a somewhat unrelated note, LPT was pinging me earlier in the week about hosting casuals up here in NH sometime. It sounded like the MindCar could bring a few people at least. What do people think of this? (Note for the people who've been to my place previously - I'm in a new, bigger apartment now. Much less of a mess than my old place )

One thing you might have to consider is sleeping arrangements, since I, and possibly other potential drivers, am not too crazy about driving back from NH early in the morning. I like you, but I also accept you for your differences. Your unwavering dedication to Tales long trips beginning in the early hours of the morning is just something that I personally will never understand.

Sleeping arrangements may not be easy if you were thinking of just sleeping at my place - most everyone would probably end up having to be on the floor, and I dunno how well that'd sit with my brother (he's fine with people coming over, but I dunno about this much). Although I wouldn't expect you guys to stick around as late as we usually go down at Why's - I understand I'm not the 'normal case' with the travel thing. We can figure that type of stuff if/when the time draws near. He just loves how good Massachusetts drivers are, especially in the morning. Memo to self - maim Katz.
