I'm looking forward to meeting/seeing/playing everyone! However, I'm not looking to bring a setup this year, so I am at the whims of the game room.

I use the Goku colors. :D (though it's possible we played before I unlocked them, they really had nothing prepared for BB lol) I basically sat in the game room for like 3~ hours playing BB with various people during Friday. Was awesome. Then Saturday I had dengeki bunkou and uniel with me so we played those. I think at one point a small crowd gathered during the Bang matches but I was too absorbed to notice. I get like that when I play lol.

Seriously looking to get a group regularly playing, eventually streaming, and potentially even carpooling to events. Synyster17 Posted April 6, 2015 Posted April 6, 2015 i went to AB SAT only so if you were there i may have played you. i was the Azrael who "baited ur burst twice and didn't get hit by purple grab resets" and basically played everyone there in the room. most people are up for casuals here. just we gotta figure out where to meat up and such. i know that GU has an event in Framingham on the 18th incase anyone wants to play xrd and such. we could probably play other games there as well if people brought them.

I was the guy sitting directly opposite to your setup playing UNIEL/Dengeki Bunkou, in case you remember me lol. It sounds like we barely missed eachother which is unfortunate. I tried to look for BB later but they had turned the setup into a tekken one by then.

My internet is fairly poor so I don't play online very often either. Offline BlazBlue gatherings would be really nice! Especially with Extend coming out in several days.
Epiren Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 Forgot about doing this earlier, but think of this as an advertisement: My school in Boston (Northeastern University) had just started it's own Fighting Game Club earlier this semester! While there occasionally is Xrd, Street Fighter is king as expected. We run casuals on Saturday from 3 to 7:30pm, before we set up for our weekly tournament from 7:30 to 10pm. (Casuals after) I would love it if more anime players decided to drop by! More often than not, I am there with Xrd, BBCP, P4AU, and UNIEL (PS3)... all by my lonesome >.> Casuals are in 14 International Village, NEU. Tournament in Curry Student Center, NEU. No venue required - and there's a Popeyes in the building.

Epiren Posted April 24, 2015 Posted April 24, 2015 In his wisdom, my club president has understood the need to relax, and not worry about next week's finals. I.e. there is a (rather small) scene in the Boston area tomorrow (4/25) from 3 to 11pm. While Ultra is primarily played, I have gotten others to play anime fighters like Xrd, BB and UNIEL; if anyone is interested, it will be at Northeastern University - 14 International Village from 3 to 6, and then on the 3rd floor in Curry. Hope to see some there!

But I might return to college in the Boston area for Spring 2016 semester, so hopefully I will be able to join you for BlazBlue and such if the club still exists. Oh and if I go I'll have my extend with me so there's definitely gonna be BB there. You always can bring your own setup and just sit and have casuals with people and do no tourneys. I figure if I come that we can do that before and after the Xrd tourney too. The place will be open for all day and just one xrd tourney doesn't take that long.

While we're primarily a Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat and Guilty Gear crowd, we won't say no to other games - like Persona, Third Strike, Blazblue and more. If you're in the state/area, give it a go~ Fight nights usually start at 8:00 pm - give or take an hour or two.

Cydra Posted June 24, 2015 Posted June 24, 2015 Hey guys, new to the site. Apparently, starting July 5th I think it was, Gameplay USA in Springfield MA is gonna start having fight nights. I'd have to check with the people that run the store to get specific details, but I'm pretty sure it's gonna be either every sunday or every other sunday so as not to interfere with other places like GU, so if you're bored one day and want to mash buttons might as well stop on by. I could bring my setup at least with Xrd and uniel.
