If anyone's interested, send me a pm for address and such. I'm going to tentatively say I'm game, with the caveat that I've got some maintenance shit scheduled for my apartment on Friday and if that gets messy/delayed I might need to cancel. Also, Tales was talking about being available any Saturday except this coming Saturday for casuals, but obviously your call on when things happen. Tanks. SOON. That said, what feels like standard BnB damage to you guys in E's Laf? There's very little information out there on this game so I'm messing around and trying to make my own stuff.

I'm not used to actually combosmithing my own stuff, so optimization and such is out of the question, and I'm only scratching the surface of what it means to really explore combo theory/routes/options/whatever people like to call it. Having a ballpark figure to aim for is great, thanks. I'm sure this is pretty meh for the meter, but a 1 bar Alcott combo: 5A > 5B > 5C > 5DF (CH) > 6D > 5A > 6A > jc > jA > jC > jD was around 3k for one meter, 3.7k if you opt for jA > jB ('meaty') instead, though you blow them fullscreen away and effectively return to neutral, even in the corner.

So if we had gotten to your place a bit slower you wouldn't have had to suffer the torrential downpour. Also shoutouts to getting to play +R. And to LPT showing up and playing Melty.

I've got some more wiki stuff to write out, discovered a 'new' Alcott BnB just by mucking around and maybe have an idea of how some matchups in E's Laf are supposed to work, on top of miscellaneous WanWan, Guilty, and Battle Fantasia knowledge. Katz, Cheese, though I wasn't able to properly put my opinion into words for the longest time, thanks for putting up with my insistence that I dislike 1/0-frame throws and the effect they have on a Fighter's Metagame. I had thought about the specifics and why I like/dislike certain designs for throws, but nobody had challenged my opinions for so long that I had trouble verbalizing my reasoning. I'm pretty sure my Skype is listed here on the side on DL, so if people want to nerd out on JRPG talk and don't mind hearing me rant from time to time, feel free to add me and hit me up! I've toned down my modern JRPG itch for a few years though, so most of my experience is PS1/PS2 era. The most recent stuff on that front from me has been Mother 3, Ib, and Ni no Kuni.
