AdamNW Posted August 8, 2012 Posted August 8, 2012 I've only had one match where it was legitimately laggy despite my supposed connection strength. And I'm getting frustrated because when I'm trying to zone with Yukiko I naturally want to hit Triangle for my 236B (see Viper's 623x) and not X, accidentally casting Maragi, and the impending startup killing me in ranked. This is taking way longer to get used to than I thought.
immutable Posted August 8, 2012 Posted August 8, 2012 have they released any new official info on the patch status for 360 ? ive searched around and haven't found any dates
Circuitous Posted August 8, 2012 Posted August 8, 2012 Last I heard it was in Certification. Should be up in a week or so.
immutable Posted August 8, 2012 Posted August 8, 2012 do you have any official statements that verify that or are you just going off of word of mouth
Circuitous Posted August 9, 2012 Posted August 9, 2012 I recall it being mentioned during the Cross Counter special by an Atlus rep, but I could be wrong. Too lazy to dig through the archive for it.

Too lazy to dig through the archive for it. Yeah, Aram Jabbari (the PR manager for Atlus USA) said it was in the Cert process while answering one of the Twitter questions.
Raging Ghost Posted August 9, 2012 Posted August 9, 2012 (edited) Here's a stupid question: Who is more focused on raw damage and/or strategically done attacks than on combos? Edited August 9, 2012 by Raging Ghost
Silmerion Posted August 9, 2012 Posted August 9, 2012 Here's a stupid question: Who is more focused on raw damage and/or strategically done attacks than on combos?Well, if you're looking for someone who can get a lot of damage off a small amount of hits, I suppose you'd be looking for Kanji. Command grabs and whatnot.
miller483 Posted August 9, 2012 Posted August 9, 2012 Have we figured out optimal combo damage? I can't seem to break more than 2600 (before super) for both Chie and Yosuke.

White Posted August 9, 2012 Posted August 9, 2012 I take it there is NO way of being able to play this game in the type A format of Blazblue? Been able to get used to the controls but occasionally i find myself pressing D for C
Skye Posted August 9, 2012 Posted August 9, 2012 You're free to go with whatever layout you're comfortable with, but for the sake of consistency, it usually advised to go with default.

Sails Posted August 9, 2012 Posted August 9, 2012 Is anyone else having a really hard time figuring out just how they want to control the game? Particularly, the problem I'm having is that I use a SF4 SE Fight Stick with Sanwa parts, and I can't seem to be okay with any way I set up my buttons. If I do ACXX BDXX, I often have input issues when it comes down to doing ABC/ACD for the Burst/OM's. I tried to do something more traditional like ABCX DXXX and that came out terrible as expected, again due to multiple button inputs. Is there maybe something I'm missing in regards to my hand work with the three button presses? Any help would be great, as this is the only thing that has been really keeping me from enjoying the game (Besides not having yet finished P3's Answer or P4 in general, keeping me far away from the Story mode).
A.X.I.S. Posted August 9, 2012 Posted August 9, 2012 Um personally I just grinded it out until I got used to it. I still mess up in matches occasionally. Just stick with one lay out and grind it out.
immutable Posted August 9, 2012 Posted August 9, 2012 (edited) is anyone watching the WNF stream ? the Atlus guy was just talking about some patch possibly coming out as soon as tonight..was he talking about the 360 patch? edit : apparently it was the xbox 360 patch he was talking about Edited August 9, 2012 by immutable
kazukifafner Posted August 9, 2012 Posted August 9, 2012 (edited) Damn, how can the Akihiko vs Yukiko matchup be so frustrating yet so fun all at the same time? Also, approximately how long does persona break last for? Edited August 9, 2012 by kazukifafner
