In third grade, the teacher asked him to pay attention in class, but his eyes always wandered around and eventually settled on the window. This eventually spiraled into a maddening symptom in which Ky now ruthlessly searches for Sol because the gear ate his burrito one day. He walked in on the two, where Sol then offered the unfinished half to Ky. But the blond refused to have sloppy seconds. "You ate my burrito..." he seethed. "What are you going to do about it? It'll never be the same way again," the gear taunted. "I'll kill you!" "I'd like to see you try!" A clash of swords soon followed, resulting in Ky's defeat. Ever since that day, Ky has held a burning vendetta against Sol for eating his burrito. All he thinks about, even when he doesn't seem to be, is getting vengeance. And that is why Ky Kiske cannot focus on women.
