I recall Butler kicking me because I played "like a bitch". Anyhow, defense is needed when you play Liz. I notice you & Somnium like to evasive action a lot. I jump away a lot (though I always get CHed, especially by blackstar ) and j.B, since j.B da god. You can't block forever, and imo, throwing out a 2A mash, BD, or 2B is really good on defense. You guys just need to learn to down back more.

Edit: Dante, you still never played me again. Also, hype for dat 4v4. Isn't it supposed to be tomorrow?

I do love me some evasive action, but it tends to backfire for the most part when I'm fighting you or any Liz for that matter

Evasive action backfires on 60-80% of the time for me. I still keep doing it.

While I agree on the we can't block forever part, I think I should at least be able to block a blockstring I can see coming from a mile away.

For example I can see that sweep coming, i try to block low, but it just fails. Anyway for me to improve upon that, is what i was asking.

i will admit that I probably overreacted a little bit in my rage quit, but please understand that I do really hate playing against you Elizabethans. it's also my first time ever having a 3-7 matchup in all the fighting games I've played and taken seriously. i can't control it! GGs btw.

It does somewhat pain my heart to fight a fellow Liz payer, especially when they deck me every time lol

Anti mirror match precautions are the only solution imo--at least then we are saved from the dreaded doppleganger fight

GGs, Dante. Here're some tips I can give you:

-Maziodyne can punish most, if not all of Yukiko's projectiles/persona moves. That's something to watch out for.

-If Elizabeth is shooting maragis or mazios full screen, you can use Dia. It has projectile invul, and it forces Liz to get in.

-No matter what, Thanatos is super telegraphed. Just look out for Liz crouching (2C, 2D isn't as important), or if she's standing with the book open (this is 5D). Soon enough, you'll learn to down-back everything, and punish 2C with 5A and jump 5D.

I'm sure there's something I'm missing, but you can ask Ciddy. I've played him a lot, and he probably knows this match-up intimately as well.

Can't believe I landed mamudoon on shadowteddie. It felt AMAZING!

Still lost to him in every single match though. =(

Shadowteddie only plays scrubs, and his neutral game isn't very good. He shouldn't be hard to beat .
