a.cho 5v5: file 1: (KY), (BA), B.D.S. (SO), (JO), (AN) vs (VE) file 2: (AB), (ED), shachou (ED), vs Haken (PO), Machaboo (KY), Koichi (with a different name, IN), Isa (ED), Nemo (TE) AB vs. PO is particularly nice, especially the killing blow. first Koichi match is another must see, so are all the shachou matches, DAMN, definitely the 2nd best eddie right after ogawa and right above isa.

Gibson was rated as the 2nd best Eddie after Ogawa, but I always feel Shachou is better than Gibson. He was rather lucky on a few occasions in the matches though.

Posted

what i like about shachou is his style. he is unlike every other eddie i've seen, mixup and combo wise. that crossup stuff that he always does and the different standard combos if he hits during an eddie rush are good examples.

The best has yet to come. One of the quarterfinals matches is Shonen's team VS Ruu's team, with Shonen taking out 4 opponents before Ruu beat him. I hope a-cho upload that match soon.

Are you 100% sure that is Koichi? I mean it's a good I-No (nice on the slashbacks) but it doesn't really play like Koichi.

it says koichi in hiragana, he is not mistaken, unless they went and labeled the video incorrectly.

Man, after trying to slashback simple stuff like Jam's 6HS, Koichii's ability to SB is just inhuman. What's happened to Ogawa anyways? I haven't seen vids of him for ages.

i can recommend the newest gamer's vision ranbat. the file is big, and the level is sub par, but yossan (IN) is playing, that totally makes up for it. nice 250 dam combo against dark 13 eddie :)

Posted

Ogawa doesn't really enter tournies. He won sbo last year and plans to win it again this year it seems, and outside of that I kinda see how random ranbats really matter when you're that good. He's down playing at akihabara's club sega all the time so don't worry. He's still raping just fine.

DC's new record! 6 coins in 2 seconds!

I always thought of DC as a fool. For years, he'd immediately throw his coins away, purposely handicapping himself. Sometimes he'd forfeit entire matches, as his opponent punishes him for each coin he'd wastefully throw away. An idiot indeed.

But now I see what he is doing, truly a genius! For years we have not been watching an imbecile, but a mastermind! His coin throwing exploits has made him famous. People have even developed anti-DC strategies. But this is all his plan. It didn't mater if he lost a match here, or got eliminated from a tournament there. It is all insignificant to his greater goal. He wasn't trying to win 2006's SBO, or even last year's SBO. He is trying to win this year's SBO. And not just any SBO, he is gong to win what might possible be the last Guilty Gear Tougeki Tournament! And we fell right in to his hands.

We've all been conditioned for the greatest mindgame the world has ever seen! Three years in the making. His name has become synonymous with coin chucking. Throw all eight coins, as soon as the round starts, and as fast as possible. But now he's changing it up on us! Is he going to throw all eight coins? Or is he going to throw only seven? Everything about him has been turned to questions! This once straight forward man has suddenly become twisted. We know nothing! We are left with only doubt. No one can stop him, he is on the path to godhood.
