ZomB Posted January 3, 2013 Posted January 3, 2013 Hi! I'm from the Atlanta area and I would consider showing up to this (It's a little bit of a drive, but I like meeting new players!) I just have one question, would you consider donating to another charity group other than Invisible Children? At any rate I would definitely suggest some more research in regards to what exactly Invisible Children does with their money and how little it helps out the people of Uganda... I'll live this here http://keepittrill.com/online/2012/03/kony-2012-scam-stop-supporting-invisible-children/ As for the choice of game/date/time everything looks great! You may wish to include some rules though.
DeathNapalmx Posted January 4, 2013 Author Posted January 4, 2013 Yeah, I was actually looking for better charities and am thinking of donating to Child's Play. From what I've read they seem to provide much more direct support. Thanks for the feedback!
ZomB Posted January 4, 2013 Posted January 4, 2013 Child's Play is a pretty great choice! I'll definitely do my best to show up to this - and bring anyone who wants to come from ATL for it as well. If you have any questions about running thr tournament or anything don't hesitate to shoot me a PM. I've run a couple myself and I'm more or less local so I could help you out.
DeathNapalmx Posted January 4, 2013 Author Posted January 4, 2013 Yeah thanks a lot! I've never really done this before, so yeah. Lol
ZomB Posted January 4, 2013 Posted January 4, 2013 I'm sure 3/5 is for winner's finals/loser's finals/grand finals and not just winner's finals, correct? Sorry to nitpick, I'm just helping out. I'll see if I can't get any of the Nashville folk out to this.
DeathNapalmx Posted January 5, 2013 Author Posted January 5, 2013 Oh. Lol Yeah it is. Glad you actually notice these mistakes. XD
Jackie Chandler Posted January 5, 2013 Posted January 5, 2013 Hey! You should definitely post in the "Middle Tennessee Needs Gaming!" Thread some time, dood. We've got a rather large FGC here, and a good majority of us play Persona. :D
DeathNapalmx Posted January 5, 2013 Author Posted January 5, 2013 Yeah sorry, I haven't had the chance to post or come to another MTNG meeting since BBCS. XD Been busy with school and whatnot but now I'm doing this. Lol
Milln Posted January 5, 2013 Posted January 5, 2013 NAPALM WASSUP MAN. I WHOLLY SUPPORT THIS EVENT. LET'S GO WE IN THERE. That is, if I can swing a double Saturday(First one is taken up by co-hosting KiT) off with my DM. I'll look into it. Napalm come to Kumite., bring your friends, and we can talk about cool stuff.
DeathNapalmx Posted January 5, 2013 Author Posted January 5, 2013 Sup! ; ) Yeah, I'll definitely try to come to Kumite, though I might have to do something that weekend, not sure.
ZomB Posted February 2, 2013 Posted February 2, 2013 Welp, I accidentally set my alarm for 10 pm instead of 10 am :/
DeathNapalmx Posted February 2, 2013 Author Posted February 2, 2013 Welp, I accidentally set my alarm for 10 pm instead of 10 am :/ Lol. Well no prob. If it wasn't that, it was the completely random snow we had.
