Well, Dizzy is like three, isn't she? Makes sense she didn't want her hubby to look twenty years older than her (o wait...) And Sin's like, half/quarter Gear, so of course he'll be more muscular than his pop. Haha, I wanna draw a 4-panel of Ky bein' jealous of Sin's guns! Also, regardin' Overture, I am SO disappointed with its storyline. I wanted PWAB involvement and crazy political conspiracies, not.......furries or talking birds (dragon?) =/ If BlazBlue does mean the end of Guilty Gear (which I highly doubt), I hope Ishiwatari at least succumbs to the fangirls and make gaidens with evil!Ky, evil!Dizzy, Jellyfish Pirates, and a fuckin' Crusades game. Oh, and an anime OVA too :3;;

I do think that the overture story isn't realy complete. Just wait, those PWAB and crazy political conspiracies stories will come someday

For some reason, i do have this feeling that Ishiwatari is suffering from a lillte writer's block when it comes to Guilty Gear.

And i do think that he make the blazblue storyline so it will free his mind so that he can put some TRUE cannon in the Guilty gear timeline afterwards

And its common on a running tale that the story teller wants to retell the story in another point of view, i rewrited my comic like 4 times when i was making it, because ill never get satisficed by how it was going with the time, maybe he has the same feeling, maybe he feels that the story its not going where he wanted and he needs to start over again, from the starting point.

That kinda reminds me of the questions i still have about the old GG storyline..

first of all there is *the outrage*: anti gear weapons make by Sol badguy.

For some reason this priece of storyline just didn't feel fitting. first of all. only 3 of the 8 (correct nummer?)outrage weapons where mention alot in the GG storyline. the other items that poeple might suspect to be outrage weapons where johnny's mist finer blade, and bridget's yo-yo.

But what about the other 3 weapons that weren't mention before.. was 8 the correct nummer of outrage weapons in the first place?

and also: how can it be explain that dizzy puple ring have the words *outrage* written in there? (i hope you poeple know what i'm trying to ask here..)

*could she be part of the outrage aswell?* *did she shallow some part of the outrage when she is young?*

TBH it doesn't make alot of sense to me..

the other one i still try to figue out is WHY the techology got banned in the age of magic.

* or because magic was seen as the untimate kin of power, and therefore there was no need to use the techlogy they once have?*

also.. i wonder what kin of devices the common folk will have used in the age of magic.. will poeple return to thier medievil devices. or do they still use some of the old techology to make thier living?

i am a lillte confuse by this.. because on the one hand they say they banned the old techology. on the other hand they still need it in order to make commications possiple...

Also, a other thing i asked myself: for what reason didn't those civil wars stop when the age of magic came? because if i hear it right. the age of magic was there to stop the contant war for resounces by giving humans a unlimted souce of energy.

I think that Ishiwatari wanna rewrite parts of the story's because he wasn't very happy with the storyline he had create.

i think he wants to make a storyline that makes more sense than it was before. and given the fact that in Overture KY *loses* his thunderseal for some reason and that Sol's fireseal seal looks diffent from the GGXX storyline, is slowy but surely indecating that he is rewriting the GG storyline and making sure the outrage didn't exsist at all. and i think he has a good reason for that, because why sould a story's destiny depend on 8 diffent weapons? i think Ishiwatari wants the story's destiny depend on Sol rather than the outrage he puts in his story's.

My vision on this. you can correct me if I'm wrong here aswel.

Back when Sol Badguy was still Freddy Mercury, he had sex with Axl who was known back then as Axl Rose. That added with time travelling paradox thing and you've got yourself a connection.

Freddy Mercury also explains the fact why Sol is gay for Ky.

And YES, Sol Badguy is Freddy Mercury in disguise. Freddy's nickname was "Mr. Bad guy". Sol's favourite band is Queen and his favourite album is Sheer Heartattack as well as having "Rock You" in reference to We Will Rock You. Is it also a coincidence that Sol's blocking standing block stance the same as how Freddy holds the mic? I think not. Freddy Mercury is alive and well my friends and gaying it up throughout the future.

Ah, there was? Was it that whole thing about Ky allowing Paradigm's Gear buddies into this country? (I thought that that was a general world opinion...) Anyways, I hope Overture II will have info on how the fuck Ky managed to snag the title of king, a country, AND a hot (underage) Gear babe. I suspect that the PWAB pulled some strings, but it still would've been a better idea if they just stuck him as a cubicle worker or somethin' (and give him an unlimited supply of potato chips! )

I guess Ky hates being called "boy" "brat" "kid" and "squirt" especially if Sol says it. He tries too hard to be a man, but it never works

I think his son is WAY more manlier that he is. Ky still has his "boy-hairs" while every other guy in Guilty Gear (except Bridget) has "man-hairs" which some of them shave off to look clean. Is Kliff the only one with the beard???

Actually, there are so many things wrong with this and Overture that it's crazy. Ky can't have had sex with Dizzy and produced a child in Overture considering it's canon that he died during the Holy Wars. Now I know you're saying "But Ky is in AC!", but AC is noncanon, along with the entire X series; which is based on the theory of "what if" I-no saved Ky from dying. (Remember, I-no's a time traveler) This is pretty sad since it's the only thing that could be called a GG storyline. So in essence the X series works the same way the multiverse does for Marvel, lots of cool things happen but only the event in one particular universe are canon. This leads to some problems in Overture. Overture was suppossed to be the canonical sequel to the original Guilty Gear... but Ky died in the Holy Wars so what the fuck is he doing in Overture? That can only mean that Overture, like the X series, is noncanon... so everything in it is noncanon as well. It really sucks since the X series has a better story than any other fighting game, but I'll trade it all to keep Ky away from Dizzy's vagina. /end rant

That's called the "multiverse" (I had a post about it), and it is used so that alternate stories can be told. However, for the point of story telling, one universe is always designated as canon... GG just hasn't done that though, and even the things that are supposed to be canon conflict with eachother. You can say that all the facts are true, but the fact that remains the most true (poor grammar) is that GG has no continuity. Sad but true... still one of the better gaming storylines though.

Just get Superman Prime to punch ripples into reality and call it a day. It'll explain Order Sol, Axl, I-No, all the drama CDs easy. Pretty much the story from about X onwards including Overture is just for the fanboys. Something to make the game seem cooler and make people want to buy it. If you think about it, the story mode is really terrible. The story's only purpose is to set up "We Must Kung Fu Fight" matches and then a pretty Artwork at the end for your troubles. It's not like in KOF where the story is built into the arcade game so you know it's canon, cause it's in the arcade. It's more like Street Fighter, where sure knowing Zangief is gay is cool and all, but it didn't really lessen or heighten my enjoyment of the fighting game. :psyduck: :psyduck: :psyduck: :psyduck:
