Mumm-Ra Posted October 4, 2014 Posted October 4, 2014 Technically activating uses any Tension you have, I guess. If you cancel activation without performing the IK, you lose all your Tension. Eh. Oh yeah that's right. I wonder if you could do time stop ik activation on wakeup to see if it's safe to do dp or not or something like that, like with bb's overdrive. Then again not every character has a meterless dp in gg.

OneSanitarium Posted October 5, 2014 Posted October 5, 2014 Looking at all the frame data that Ruu and Kedako put out, every form of IK activation that has the super freeze effect is essentially 5F+(Usual total-10f)+5f recovery after the freeze. i.e. Sol's is 84f normally and 5f + 74f super freeze + 5f recovery. Ino's is 76f normally and 5f + 66f super freeze + 5f recovery. And the trend continues for every character from what I've checked. So yeah, start up and recovery.

Potemkin gets above the knees invincibility for most of his, for example. I don't know of any that have frame 1 invul of any kind, though, so you're right on that.'Course the 5+x+5 startup renders this entirely moot anyway. Don't wake-up instant kill, people.

Did you get 6K yen so you could buy the game on the JPN launch of Dec 3? As far as I know, you can get a free 2-day trial of PS+ if you have a PS4, and since the demo is PS4 exclusive anyway, you wont have to buy PS+ for your JPN account. If your PS+ expires I'm assuming you could always just make another JPN account to get another 2-day trial, if the demo isn't a time-limited thing like a public beta.

Isn't there a usb update that allows u to play 8mins at time then u have to unplug and replug it back in? Akishop is still working on that. It wasn't a part of their recent update. I am only using the CronusMAX until the TE2 comes to the US in late November.
