But gameplay is nice still...
Henaki Posted November 25, 2014 Posted November 25, 2014 i dont have the ability to stream unfortunately. you'll have to deal with posting until someone gets a stream up. i have to get back to work soon anyway. also sins voice sux, valentines is horrible. it sounds like shes trying to sound robotic but she speaks upward instead of monotone. these are out of match, they sound fine in match.
Henaki Posted November 25, 2014 Posted November 25, 2014 she sounds fine imo. zato sounds good too. millia has a riza hawkeye vibe to her. keep in mind i basically get 2-4 lines and battle cries to go off of here. no english va list in credits, unfortunately. didnt care for chipps voice, mostly inoffensive tho. biggest thing is everyone has this weird anime "air" to them, like they're trying to talk hella fancy, sorta like they're maximillian pegasus or like, every character in code geass or something. gotta work now, hopefully someone streams! cool game, graphics exceed the hype imo.

May seems more older with the English voice, but is the best so far as playable characters go, Ramlethal and Sol in the other hand are really deplorable.

king of heart Posted November 25, 2014 Posted November 25, 2014 I-No sounds like a low budget porn star which isn't bad at all. Translations are the biggest problem IMO. I have to admit that we will never get a fighting game with perfect English voices the way MvC3 did.

Venom sounds like Urkel after his balls dropped, Sol is OW THE EDGE, Sin sounds like an obnoxious idiot which kinda fits him, Zato is aight, Millia's good, and May's voice isn't awful. Overall, I like this dub!

Yeah, the demo is the same one. Only Sol and Ky, and only Lesson and Arcade Modes. Also, Ky doesn't say "I'm falling!", but Ramlethal does.

Normal voice: C'mon kid, let's play some more. Motto motto! Boss voice: You piss me off... Why don't you just die already, old man?! But then after listening to her special quote against Sol you are unable to feel the same thrill of hatred that she has in her boss voice in Japanese.

Faust and Zato sound the best out of all of them so far. My complaints so far are Ramlethal (she confused emotionless and robotic), Sol (this actor is trying WAY too hard, they should have hired someone else), Sin (this guy really wants to be JYB), and Venom (I think they just told someone "be black" for him). I-no's voice is a little odd, but not bad, I just think it's odd. She kept the tough, and lost the angry and the sexy. Haven't bumped into Slayer, Chipp, Millia, or Bedman yet to comment on them. Also, my reactions to some of the voices: Ky - "Long time, no see, Flynn Scifo!" Axl - "Axl's really feeling it!" Sin - "Please no JYB, please no JYB...FUCK! If this guy isn't JYB, he really wants to be." Ramlethal - "Did you get depressed there, KOS-MOS?"
