I figured something out!

Ky becomes part gear, presumably from having sex with Dizzy and conceiving Sin, no?  So, basically Gear cells are like a venereal disease.  Ridiculousness aside:  We know that Dizzy is the half Gear-Half Human child of Justice (and Probably Sol.)  Given that Sol was a gear first, I'm willing to be that what happened was that after Sol (Frederick) was turned into a Gear, he had a magical night with Aria and accidently "Infected her" with his out of control Gear cells.  Aria and That Man then probably joined the weapons development program, making the Justice Exoskeleton, as a way to do R&D on Gear Cells to fix what they broke.  It's worth noting that the game does mention that earlier Gear Cell Cultures become more potent as you trace them back to Sol and Justice.

Oh, and to add more one thing to that!  Sol = Freddie Mercury more so than ever now!

I don't get it.

How did Justice become so big + why is it so organic compared to how she was more mechanical before...?

Also, what do we know so far regarding the Japanese anyway? o.o

And what does the Colony have to do with them?

Hm, Justice before had armor.  Apparently they took away her armor.  It doesn't explain why she was so big though; maybe the conclave was compensating for something?  Also, "The Colony" is where all the Japanese live.  They apparently have some kind of magical Chi trait.

Some translations put it as them having "a unique reaction to occult energy, providing them with a special power."

Does this game make it clear that Sol and Aria were a thing? As far as I know the whole thing is rather iffy on that front.

yes it was in some flashbaks sol and aria was going to exact i say they might have been lovers but when aria was sick she didnt want sol to drop his work on gears to save her which he would have done he hated that the time he would spend with her is short since she was dying from her illness

but to me it seemed like this whole game felt like a  love triangle between Elphelt,Sin and Ramlethal

Are you serious? Elphelt and Ram are after Sin? Such pointless ness, now I feel like Sin was created just to build a Harem around him "sighs".

Although awesome we get some back story on Aria and Sol. Always bugged me not knowing the extent of their relationship.

Elphelt was a bit too similar to Aria compared to the previous Valentine's to be coincidental. Perhaps Mother sealing her ability to fall in love has something to do with that?

There aren't any romantic over/undertones between them unless you misconstrue particular scenes.

So, anyone feel like a game of "Guess The plot developments based on Blazblue?"

Just guessing?

Sol (Ragna) has gotta save real Aria (Saya) from The Universal Will (Izanami) but just before he can accomplish this he'll be consumed by the Dragon Install (Black Beast) which creates a cliffhanger end leading into the next game. Playable Aria incoming.

Even more Valentine (Murakumo) girls.

May (Noel) comes to terms with her mysterious past of being from Japan (being a manufactured person) and get a power-up out of it.

Episodes of "Teach Me, Dr. Paradigm" with Sin playing the part of Tao.

So is it true that Universal Will = Pope = Mother...?

And we don't know the reason why Faust told Johnny to never send May to the Colony right?

And may be it is just me, but even Elphelt seems to closely resemble Aria in some aspects, although the 1st generation Valentine was like that also ._.

No Ariels is the Pope but it is not the Universal Will. Universal Will is Mother who has existed pre crusades, during that flashback with Justice.

1st generation Valentine looked like Aria but was an emotionless doll most of the time and never acted like Aria. El actually exhibits personality traits that are similar to Aria in the flashbacks.

You mean "spot that Mori plot?" The ending, really, which is the amalgamation of the endings of both CS2 and CP.

Do you think they will be changing Ram's in game lines for succeeding iterations of the series to reflect her change of heart?

Posted

Look wise she doesn't look all that much like Aria in my opinion. She's got short hair but that's about it. Although maybe I'm just too nitpicky.

Her hair also seems way too puffy.

Wait. I am confused here.

Are there like two Mothers or something?

You have to understand that Ariels was never once confirmed to be Mother. As El put it Mother is a bodiless entity that resides in the backyard and who creates the Valentines. Ariels may be aligned with Mother but she isn't the Universal Will. That Man and the Conclave are trying to save the world from Mother/Universal Will.
