I just want a decent Lizzie, though I am also real excited for Yukari especially since she's now part of Featherman R. But wait, what's this I hear about a 4th character? I thought Sho was the last one for a while unless this is teasing Makoto Margaret.

I'm saying inevitable because of how the character select screen is laid out. Given what we know now, it's possible that Sho won't even make it for launch but I can say with full confidence that he won't be the last character added to P4A2.

Am I the only want who'd want the fourth (potential) character to be Ken? I'm just curious to see how he looks like, now that he should be in middle school. Plus, there's the spear, dat spear.

Also, I assume no official release date was announced for console? I recall that the average gap between arcade/console is about 6 months. So if we're lucky, could the game might actually come out by this summer =D ?

If there is a 4th character to be announced, i can honestly see Adachi being it. I looked back at the new ending in Golden and they referenced the month of May which was when Arena took place. Since the next game is going to be just a few days after, it's still May and it said Adachi was in jail. It never said he got out at one point but it's just a theory i had. Even if he isn't I do agree that Ken would be a good choice.

Agreed. Maya, Jun, Reiji, or Yukino are the one's I'd really want to see. Even if the speculation about who the villain is turns out to be true, I'd like if they had their own form. Not shadow mode proxies. Like, have it be a shadow mode equivalent to Liz (no normal mode).

That said, given how much more popular the later games are, and that having Ken or Marie (or lol Koromaru) show up makes more sense storywise. They have friends connected to all this, the P1/P2 crowd don't.

Female protagonist is an optional part of P3P, you can still play as "Minato" in P3P even though the non-Tartarus gameplay is in VN-style and the storyline is just identical to "The Journey" from FES.

While Marie's social link is entirely optional, it ties heavily into the main plot and all her introductory scenes are MANDATORY. She is directly tied into the skill cards mechanic. You can not in any way choose to play an original P4 experience in P4G, she is always there.

Indeed, I wouldn't be surprised to see Marie's presence in the game, at least maybe in the console version. Navigator position sounds more possible than playable character, though.

You know, it's funny because I've seen no official statement and I also remember there being people who were thinking The Answer was not canon.

I was not disputing that though. I was disputing Marie being like the female P3 protagonist. And then you replied to me and I made a comment.
