Dawn of Musou Posted April 7, 2014 Posted April 7, 2014 I was playing around with Kokonoe and I found this: B+C > 4D > 236C > Dash B > 6A > j.B (2) > J > j.B (2) > j.A (3) (60 hits total) It's about 3243 dmg, and after that, the Graviton goes away after the opponent recovers Tbh when I'm feeling lazy, I just do B+C>4D>236C>236A for 3.1K. Extremely easy way to get damage off throw.
Ayane Posted April 7, 2014 Posted April 7, 2014 5B > 2C > 6C > j.D > j.236D |> 66 > 6[A] > 22B , 5B > 7D > 236C , 3C(2) , 66 > 5B > 5C > 236B I can't get this one to work. They tech after the 5B is only the 2nd hit of 3C supposed to hit? NVM got it. Wasn't 66>5B>5C fast enough so they were hitting the ground and teching during 5C.
someonewhodied Posted April 7, 2014 Posted April 7, 2014 If you really want damage off of a grab midscreen. Grab>8D>6[A]>22B>5B>5C>2C>6C>7j.2C>j.236D>6[A]>6(1)>236C 4.5K meterless. And @penninja's comment on that YT video (Can't comment on google. never bothered linking my YT account to a google one). I suck at IADs. And i never got the 956 motion to work properly.
Pen_Ninja Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 And @penninja's comment on that YT video (Can't comment on google. never bothered linking my YT account to a google one). I suck at IADs. And i never got the 956 motion to work properly. It's definitely something I recommend getting used to. I was doing 866 or 966 for my first 9 months or so of playing the game but now that I'm doing the proper 956 inputs it's easier to do IADs and focus on other inputs at the same time.
Keech Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 5B>6A>5B>6A tottaly whiff on crouching Carl. For crouching Rachel, Bang, Platinum need charge all 6[a] to half. All others chars have ~same crouching hurtbox(wolf, tao, arakune too)
tetora_desu Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 Corner (5b>5c>3c>236a>5a>5b>5c>2c>6c>j.c>j.5c>j.5d>j.5c>j.5d>j.5c>j.5d? has anyone been able too get 3 j.c j.d loobs off a 5b starter?
someonewhodied Posted April 13, 2014 Posted April 13, 2014 skip the 3C, then you can do it. Midscreen to corner: 5B/5C>236A>RC>662C>iadj.B>j.C>j.2C(whiff)>66[A]>22B>5B>5C>5D>236D>6B>236B>5C>22B
Iron Savior Posted April 29, 2014 Posted April 29, 2014 Is there a combo off Ch 5C that's easy to confirm if you get a random Ch and gives decent damage?, i usually do 5c CH>2c>6c>stuff, but it's something i can only do as a punish since you normally have to dash for the 2c>6c
Poultrygeist Posted April 29, 2014 Posted April 29, 2014 For a easy beginner one I'd say CH 5C 5D 5A 5B 6A 5B 5C 236D 6[A] 22A 6[A] 6B 236B. There's much better but that's a good starting point I'd say.
Kurushii Posted April 29, 2014 Author Posted April 29, 2014 I'm at work atm without the game in front of me but the following should work. CH 5C > 2C > 5D > 5B > 5C > 236D , 6[A] > 22B , 5A > 5B , 6C > jc > j.B(2) > j.C > j.9D > j.236D |> 66 > 6[A] , 5C > 236B , 5C > 236C
Poultrygeist Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 When exactly do you do that last 5C? Before they hit the ground?
Kurushii Posted April 30, 2014 Author Posted April 30, 2014 When exactly do you do that last 5C? Before they hit the ground?Fast as possible. It should hit before or right when the bomb goes off.
Poultrygeist Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 Oh I fucked up, meant the second to last lol. The one after 6[A].
Kurushii Posted April 30, 2014 Author Posted April 30, 2014 Oh I fucked up, meant the second to last lol. The one after 6[A].That one you want the opponent to hit the very top of the 5C hitbox. If they hit any lower than the 236B won't connect.
Maho Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 Did they lower the SMP on 236D in 1.1? In 1.0, the opponent can tech right away when hit by the second 6[A].
Kurushii Posted April 30, 2014 Author Posted April 30, 2014 Did they lower the SMP on 236D in 1.1? In 1.0, the opponent can tech right away when hit by the second 6[A].Oops, I was thinking of my normal ender routes. As I said I was at work when I posted that lol. It has to be much shorter because of the SMP... soCH 5C > 2C > 5D > 5B > 5C > 236D , 6[A] > 22B , 5A > 5B , 6C > jc > j.B(2) > j.C > j.9D > j.236D |> 236B which is 4231/30% in v1.1.
someonewhodied Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 in the corner: 5C CH>22B>5C>9D>2C>6C>dj.2C>j.236D>j.5C>j.2C(whiff)>6[A]>22B>5B>5C>6[A]>6B>236B>5C>214214A>9D~236D>236C 7770 damage, 50 heat, builds required meter. Midscreen: 5C CH>7D>236C(Bullets whiff)>6C>dj.2C>j.236D>2C>iad j.B>j.C>j.6D>j.236D>236B>(if near corner 5C>6B>214214A>9D~236D>6(1))
Iron Savior Posted May 1, 2014 Posted May 1, 2014 Oops, I was thinking of my normal ender routes. As I said I was at work when I posted that lol. How do you time j.236D |> 236B at the end?, they always tech immediately after i activate the gravitron and i don't have enough time to do 236B
Kurushii Posted May 1, 2014 Author Posted May 1, 2014 How do you time j.236D |> 236B at the end?, they always tech immediately after i activate the gravitron and i don't have enough time to do 236B You need to be fast with your inputs. If you are too slow then the smp from the second activation will kill the combo timer. You also have to delay the 236B some as well.
someonewhodied Posted May 5, 2014 Posted May 5, 2014 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1KDFt9phzcg This 5CCH combo should work postpatch and here is a video of my current one that I've posted here. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eYOjxVWdygE Midscreen 5CCH: 5CCH>[22B]>3C>]22B[>6A>6C>8D>j.236D>22B>5B>2C>6[A]>6>236B 5361 damage.
Poultrygeist Posted May 17, 2014 Posted May 17, 2014 What's the optimal confirm off a 3C? Like when you punish a roll/late tech?
Pen_Ninja Posted May 17, 2014 Posted May 17, 2014 You'll need to super ball or OD... Both of which are different combos depending on HP and/or screen position... Someone not on their phone can list a bunch of them if they wish...
Poultrygeist Posted May 17, 2014 Posted May 17, 2014 Yeah I know the optimal OD one I think, but I'm looking for meterless and ODless if possible.
Pen_Ninja Posted May 17, 2014 Posted May 17, 2014 Optimal meterless and OD-less combo off non-CH 3C is the following 3C > 236A...
